Force the handwheel in its normal direction of travel. You can't break it. Then remove the needle and run it full speed for 10 seconds. This tip told me by my dry cleaning, dressmaking lady.

I bought a Brother Runway Edition LS2300PRW used. I can't get the needle to engage. Is there something I need to do? I've turned the wheel counterclockwise but the needle doesn't move then, either.

I have a Brother 4234D Overlocker/Serger. The power cord - foot pedal cord has one plug into the machine and then the two cords coming from that. One goes to the power plug and foot pedal.

I believe it is two wires. The cord could be cut and extended any reasonable length so long it is done in accordance with requured regulations.

Basically, whatever materials and method you use to extend the cable must meet the same specifications and safety requirements of the original.

I just purchased a Brother Galaxie 131 for $15! It's in great shape, mint almost but doesn't want to run. Im very handy and know that the problem is in the cord or light/motor block. I don't really want to break the board backing on the block to open it up. Does anyone know a way inside with minimal damage? I can see that the wire's insulation is cut on both sides of it so I hope when I open it up I can see any other issues. I could also use a manual if anyone knows where to find one.

Brother PR600ii y axis squeaking when moving hoop backwards or forwards. Any idea of what this could be.? It started when I had increased humidity, but that's resolved.

May just need lubricated. Take a Q-tip and put a drop of light lubricating oil (sewing machine, gun, clipper, 3-IN-1, etc.). Apply to Y shaft with Q-tip.

How to thread a Brothers VX520

should have numbers on the machine to follow. It is about 8 steps. start at 1 and look for 2 and so forth until all numbers have been found. Hope this helps.
