Hi, I have a Bond

Hi. I have a Bond, too. Even if you get a formula to recalculate the numbers of stitches per inch/cm I would suggest that you do a gauge swatch with the Bond before you start knitting the actual sweater. There is a terrific group of fellow Bond machine enthusiasts and experts here: https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/incrediblesweatermachineclub/info They have free patterns, tips, and advice. They have some manuals posted, too. :)

Franklin long shuttle treadle 4x14010 and the bottom reads 6153C0 what year is it?

I can't find a reference to this 6153CO. There were many variations of Franklin treadle machines and many companies associated with the branding. The ID above does not include date specific information. Records of some of those companies would no longer exist. https://sewingiscool.com/how-to-date-a-franklin-sewing-machine-value/ Franklin began producing machines based upon the Singer design in 1911. Sales did not flourish for the company. That did not halt the use of the Franklin name. And treadle machines were made well into the 1950's. It would be quite a challenge to have the machine assessed accurately.

I have a Viking Topaz 50 the touch screen is totally un responsive. Will an update reset it? or is it just bad?

Even if the touchscreen is unresponsive, you can still update the firmware using the spcialized software of the manufacturer. If it was unresponsive AFTER that, you would have to take it to a repair center. If you have difficulty with the general instructions which follow, try Viking customer support. Here are the general steps to update the firmware: Check for Updates: Visit the Viking website or refer to your machine's user manual to find the latest firmware version available for your model. Download the Firmware: Download the firmware update file to your computer. Connect Your Machine: Connect your Viking Topaz 50 to your computer using a USB cable. Run the Update Software: Install and run the firmware update software on your computer. Follow the instructions provided by the software to update the machine's firmware. Wait for Completion: The update process may take a few minutes. Ensure that your machine remains connected during the entire process. Restart the Machine: After the update is complete, restart your sewing machine to apply the changes.

My Empisal EM250 not sewing in zigzag

The spring needs to go back to where it came from. Unfortunately there is no parts schematic showing all the parts and where they go. You will either have to look inside for evidence of where it was, or take it to an Empisal service centre. https://www.google.com/search?q=Empisal+EM250+parts+schematic and Zig Zag fix videos https://www.google.com/search?q=Empisal+EM250+not+sewing+in+zigzag ..

Designer 1 touch screen is frozen, and I cannot calibrate because reverse button is also stopped working.

When the Designer 1 touch screen is frozen and unresponsive, preventing you from calibrating or using the reverse button, it can be frustrating. Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue: 1. Restart the Machine: - Turn off the Designer 1 embroidery machine and unplug it from the power source. - Wait for a few minutes before plugging it back in and turning it on. This can sometimes reset the system and resolve minor software glitches. 2. Check for Physical Obstructions: - Ensure that there are no physical obstructions on the touch screen that may be causing it to be unresponsive. Clean the screen gently with a soft, lint-free cloth to remove any dirt or debris. 3. Perform a Hard Reset: Performing a hard reset on the Designer 1 embroidery machine can help resolve software-related issues and reset the system to its default settings. Here is a general guide on how to perform a hard reset on the Designer 1 embroidery machine: A. Turn off the Machine: - Ensure that the Designer 1 embroidery machine is turned off and disconnected from the power source. B. Locate the Reset Button: - On some embroidery machines, including the Designer 1, there may be a small reset button located on the machine. - The reset button is typically a small, recessed button that may require a pin or a paperclip to press. C. Press the Reset Button: - Using a small pointed object like a pin or a paperclip, press and hold the reset button on the embroidery machine. - Hold the reset button for a few seconds (typically 10-15 seconds) to initiate the hard reset process. D. Release the Reset Button: - After holding the reset button for the specified time, release the button. E. Power On the Machine: - Plug the Designer 1 embroidery machine back into the power source and turn it on. - The machine should restart, and the hard reset process should be complete. F. Check Functionality: - Once the machine has restarted, check if the touch screen and other functions are responsive and working properly. - Test the touch screen, buttons, and other features to ensure that the hard reset has resolved the issue. (Please note that the exact steps for performing a hard reset may vary depending on the specific model and design of the Designer 1 embroidery machine. It is recommended to refer to the user manual or contact the manufacturer for specific instructions on performing a hard reset for your particular machine model.) If the hard reset does not resolve the issue with the frozen touch screen and unresponsive buttons on your Designer 1 embroidery machine, contact customer support or seek assistance from an authorized service center for further troubleshooting and repair. 4. Contact Customer Support: - If the touch screen remains frozen and unresponsive despite trying the above steps, it is recommended to contact the customer support service for the Designer 1 embroidery machine. - The customer support team can provide further guidance on troubleshooting the touch screen issue and may suggest additional steps to resolve the problem. 5. Professional Repair: - If the touch screen continues to be unresponsive and the machine is still under warranty, consider taking it to an authorized service center for repair. - Professional technicians can diagnose the issue and perform repairs if necessary to restore the functionality of the touch screen. It's essential to handle electronic devices like embroidery machines with care when troubleshooting issues to prevent any further damage. If you are unsure about performing any of the steps mentioned above, it's best to seek assistance from the manufacturer or a professional technician to avoid causing additional problems.
