Yes,
Go buy a can of canned air from a computer store and blow out your bobbin case area and any other lint you see.
Then place a drop of of on the needle bar (right above the screw that holds the needle in) and one drop where the hook (silver part) goes around the bobbin case (black part that holds the bobbin case) (see picture)

There is no speed adjust, but 1st you must know the source of the slow down. Remove the belt from the motor pulley and run it, if it goes fast try turning the hand wheel if it is stiff the machine needs clean and oil. If it turns freely you motor may be dirty or just slow. If dirty, sometimes you can without the blet attached run it at full speed for 10 to 15 minutes. It should get faster as you run it. If not motor is weak or slow needs replace. Just replacement motor as genuine probably no longer available.
I inserted the bobbin correctly.
Hello. The thread from the bobbin should start to creep up towards the feed dogs and make a loop that the needle and thread can "grab" to pull it up thru the hole for stitching. You might want to slowly put the needle down thru the feed dogs and then slowly with the winder not the pedal but with the winder slowly bring the needle up again. Try this a few times and see if the needle and bring it up. I've had it take a few tries; it doesn't always bring it up the 1st time. Regards, Joe
Hi, purchased this from HSN...did not come with
Contact HSN and tell them you are not satisfied with it that it arrived defective. They will probably ask, then tell them so they can send you a manual, be sure to get the person's name and there address so you can follow up with a confirmation of the conversation. There is an implied warranty that it is usable as described and without a manual you cannot do that. They will Do it asap, in some states you have only a very short time to respond.

I need a new power cord and can not find on
Call Euro-Pro at 1-800-361-4639, you can buy one from them. I had a problem with my bobbin holder and they sent me a new one within a week. I also ordered a set of 24 empty bobbins and the total cost with shipping was about $35.00.
