I have a 2056. I open the little door with the red light and closely watch my top thread for when it stops catching a bobbin thread until it is used up. I stitch more slowly but at least not annoyed and not wasting thread. Dawn Illinois

it's possible that some part of the computer is or has gone out, it would be a good idea to have the machine checked.

Take it to your pfaff dealer.

You can contact the person you bought it from or contact the manufacturer they maybe able to let you know if you give them the make and model. You can also look at the papers that came with the item when you bought it. Hope this helps.

It needs to be clean with a service history and fully working with an owners manual.

A service center can connect to the sewing machine and give you that infomation but after looking through the manual I couldn't find any info to see the total time your machine is in use.
