Pfaff 1475 Needs to ''warm up?''
I had the same problem with my Pfaff 1475CD. If I waited about an hour or so it would come on. I have read here and elsewhere that you should replace the (5) 22 microfarad 16V capacitors on the circuit board. I ordered capacitors from Amazon and did this since I have a little bit of soldering skill. It worked! Machine now turns on normally. Note: you must pay attention to the polarity of the capacitors when replacing them.
How do I take the top off a Pfaff 7570
The top is also attached with some clips to the front and back of the machine. The handle also needs to be removed after you loosen up the top. It is held on with some C clips. The best way to remove thread is to separate the needle bar from the upper shaft. This may require some experience to get it back into adjustment. Good luck if you try this on your own.
I have a Pfaff 7570 with Windows 7 professional.
I can't tell you much or offer any advice but I can tell you with absolute certainty the Windows 7 compatibility programme has never worked for me.

Do you have any sewing machine repair shops in your area? It may be worthwhile to have them take a second look. Unfortunately, a lot of dealers make a practice of telling you the repair is expensive, it cannot be repaired, and you should just buy a new machine.
Pfaff 7560 won't take Enter key
First, make sure your batteries are new, and not cheap ones. Change them again if you are in doubt. Try pressing ANY two buttons as an experiment. If this fails I can't help, but try another dealer, preferably ask to speak to their repair man. Good luck !
My 2140 has the lower feed dog error message
A good clean is always useful, Remove needle, and the side cover over the lamp if you can. Remove the feed dog cover plate. Use an air blaster can to remove fluff, then I personally spray everything with WD40 to remove gunge. If you are able, use a length of cotton tape wetted with WD40 to remove gunge from the tension plates. Wipe off any surplus WD40. Then oil the hook and bobbin race with good quality sewing machine oil, do not use any other oil.
