Does not stitch, just beeps
try changing the needletry rethreading the machine top -make sure to use every threadguide & bobbin--make sure the bobbin is turned the right way in the bobbin caseclean under the needle plate & in the bobbin area for lintalso try turning the machine off & then back on & see if that will help
Machine starts beeping and stops sewing everytime I try to sew
Ok, first of all never do that trying to force it to work thing. It is beeping because there is a problem. Stop... unplug it, remove your work and discover what is wrong. (Likely that you've got thread under the bottom of the feed dogs ... but it could be something entirely computer related... since these are computers... they don't like extreme heat OR cold.

I'm sorry... Modern singers are junk.... in fact most modern domestic machines are junk.
I'm trying to reset the timing on my futura
Lisa, I cannot solve your problem because I have the same one. After paying for shipping twice to the Singer repair that Singer told me I had to use the machine is still not working. I am so mad and disappointed at Singer. I think a class action lawsuit would be great since these machines are lemons!
Singer ce-200 stops sewing
Double check your threading, 1 first point to enter for tread (a).. then around little cog down and up again down.to needle thread it (b)at A tuck on it.. make sure foot is up.. you will hear a loud click pulll thread down.. thread needle now while threaded... see that long metal horizontal plate under the machine but above the needle.. pull the thread behind it.. if you look at it you will notice the natural flow path.. you will hear a tiny click thats the sensor.. ok back to the top... where you first threaded the thread give it another little tuck you will hear a tiny click.. ok.. sensors seen the thread.. now unless your tensions are wrong.. it all should run.. with the right thread and materials.. also is the bobbin in ok? it unwinds anti clockwise.
