AP means...ADD POWDER. Actually add toner.

It should be cleaned after 75,000 copies. you have to change the maintenance kit, which contain the fuser, drum, developer.

u can take the fuser out and scrape the hot roller with a cardboard,but realisticly a new fuser or at least a new hot roller will be needed.new toner had nothing to do with it

E70 Before switching on, originals were found on the
document feeder

You should see a small blue knob, Pull out and push in 10 times

Keep opening and closing the front door until the toner catches up. Did it have a plastic seal that you forgot to pull off?

Thanks for using FixYa. You’ll need to run U163 simulation to reset and fix the error code 710. To find simulation control service you’ll need to press cancel + start + light and release all of them and press cancel. For getting the display 1, 6, and 3, then press the zoom in and out. After 163 will display press start and the issue will be resolved. If still the code is shown then there is a problem with the fuser unit.

Hello sir; It's a fuser problem, but you need to reset, the procedure as follow; Press and holding down following keys in order, "stop/reset", "start", and "left copy density", then press "stop/reset" key again, then enter U63 press "start", window will display "CLE", press start again to clear.

Jam code 70 means: No origional feed. Paper is detected on the doc feedr tray, but when the start button is pushed - the origional don't feed through.

"AP" stands for Agitation in Process", it appears in the copy quantity display when toner is being replenished inside of the copier. Wait a few minutes..this happens after continuously copying for long periods, or copying dense things like photos. Sometimes it will occur after running the machine when it is out of toner. replace toner and turn on/off a few times to "agitate toner. Don't worry about the scan lamp being lit while this is happening, it will go out.

the AP means that the copier needs more than one cycle to add toner.
This usually happens when the copier is used for a whiile after the add toner message comes on

If it only has lines on copys then
Clean scanner glass (small slit of glass before copy glass)

If it happens on prints and copys then it will more likely be drum.

Hello sir; "AP" isn't a problem, just let it run for a little while, it will disappear.

You need to run sim U163 to reset fixing heater problems. Press and hold stop, start, and left exposure key in that order. Release and press stop again. Use zoom keys to enter 163, press start. Exit the mode by entering 001 and start, or power off/on.
