Minolta Dialta Copier

Malfunction C0500 Copier will not work anymore! Can I fix this myself?

C0500 refers to a low fuser temperature. You can attempt to clear the code by using the tech rep service mode. Go to "Counter" Go to "Trouble" Trouble reset If "warm Restart Swich" is asked for- This can be actuated through a small access hole on the right side of the control panel, using a straightened paper clip or something similar. You may need to clear the counter by pressing "clear" and then "end". After clearing the code, power cycle the copier. If it comes to "ready" you are all set. If not, you may have a blown heat lamp or thermal fuse which would need to be replaced by a technician. Good Luck!!

I have a Konica Minolta CSPRO EP1054 (in the Middle East)

I accidentally plugged the EP1054 copier into a 110V outlet instead of the 220V. Immediately the malfunction code (error code) of "C05" appeared along with the "Call Tec Rep" indicator light (wrench).

I followed the instructions posted by "Soul Visitor" ... i.e., I found the "Trouble Reset Switch" (not shown in the user manual) by opening the upper back panel and pressing the small black button in the lower right hand corner of the middle circuit board (green).

It worked perfectly!7df26b9.tif

How do I get to Tech Rep Service Mode on Minoltas to clear C0500 error code?

I'm getting error code C0500 on my Minolta. Your posted fix for this problem was as follows:

C0500 refers to a low fuser temperature. You can attempt to clear the code by using the tech rep service mode.
Go to "Counter"
Go to "Trouble"
Trouble reset
If "warm Restart Swich" is asked for- This can be actuated through a small access hole on the right side of the control panel, using a straightened paper clip or something similar.

How do I get to Tech Service mode in order to go the"Counter" and tehn to "Trouble"?

With this error code on the screen all my keys are locked-up.

I appreciate your help & email to "[email protected]"

Many thanks in advance.

Konica minolta Di3510 Tech Password

We had the c0500 Error on our printer in the office this morning. For whatever reason the 8 digit tech password is no longer 00000000 on the machine. It isn't 12345678, 1111111, or any of those other basic default passwords and not even our techs know what it is. Is there anyway to reset the tech password on this printer?

Does anyone have a tech manual for troubleshooting. Really in a bind.
I also don't have the admin code. Does anyone know how to reset this also. I own it from my previous business, but lost the codes in a move. I appreciate any input. Thanks.

To clear this code, you will need a paper clip, stick th paper clip in the small hole on the right side of the control panel, (machine must e on) When you do that the control panel wll say please wait, then the screen will show a small blue dot for a few seconds on the left side of the screen, when you see that press 3 you will see a screen the say Maintenace Mode, touch then hit "Trouble Reset" it will again say please wait, then you will see the dot again let it go do nothing it will go thru to Ready to Copy. If The code comes back you need a new fuser unit

no matching paper size set

no matching paper size set paper on bypass tray

Answer

Someone has told the machine to either make a copy or print from a PC to the Bypass feed tray on the copier. If you are not trying to print something by using the bypass tray then just turn the machine off, then on again to clear the request from the copier. If you are trying to print or copy from the bypass tray then simply insert the correct paper size and direction into the bypass tray slot and the machine should automatically begin printing.
Good Luck and Thank You for using Fixya.
