this machine have a plastis pick clutch spring take it out and turn it so that it is loged up and put it back the is also a new firmware virsion check your rom virsion it must be vir2.** it inprove paper feed bud does not sove the macanical pick problem do the clutch spring first and see if you can still get the firmware the firware is not a must but cut papper jaming calls down

just simply pull-out the imaging assembly and put it back again...the machine will abort then you need to wait the dot on the middle left side of the display on your screen then press number 3 ant touch the trouble reset on your touch screen....

C0500 code that is fuser.try reset this one first by powering machine on while holding down STOP BOTTON ON THE OP PANEL

Check the exposure lamp light.Open the document feder cover,verify the lamp light(press the cover contact manually),if the lamp is light to half side,remove the glass,pull the scanner assembly in the left position use the alufolio and transparent scotch for repair the damaged parts.Verify the lamp ground continuity use Ohm meter.
