HOW MUCH WATER A WASHER
Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
I'm sorry but you are not actually talking to any particular manufacturer but a FixYa forum and the forum is just made up of ordinary guys and gals, probably at home and from all over the world, with experience of addressing problems and giving guidance for free on the web. Also members on Fixya are not 'affiliated' to, or representative of, any manufacturer at all, just using their experience gained probably over many years.
So-
Have a look at the manufacturer's panel, probably on the back- it might give you an indication there- or your manual?
Another possibility would be to go onto the manufacturer's web site DIRECT to see, OR your (intended) vendor's site?
If this has assisted and/or clarified the situation for you please consider a 4 thumbs up on our rating.
Thanks and good luck!

GE Washer spins, gets off balance and 1 dampening strap falls off
Replace the round black rubber straps. There are 4 of them, one in each corner. These help the drum from going crazy. Also, if you don't replace them, you will end up cracking the outer tub. It will crack when it hits the side panels. This will cost you more to fix than buying a new machine.
Please rate solution if helpful.
How do you test a ge washer motor
Use an ohmmeter across all the windings, they should be a few ohms (my washer is 2.3 to 2.7 ohms). There is probably a service manual inside the front, bottom panel that will give you the exact range for your motor and that also gives you the pin definition of the connector so you know what pins the different windings attach to.
The drum on my G.E.
Hi, did you say the drum of the washer hangs down from the top panel?
If that be the case, you certainly have to replace the shock absorber to make the drum balance again.
How do i fix a
would either be the belt or the motor pull the back of it and check to see if the belt is slipping or smoke is coming from the motor.
I submitted a repair issue on Monday and received
open up the control, panel and get access to all electrical connections, then carefully pull and wiggle all connections possible,if you get one that seems to make things operate again, unplug the unit and remove the connection and check for any type of corrosion,it may be invisible, but wiggling these connections may clean off the corrosion so it works again,if this doesn't seem to help, tap lightly on the control panel and see if theres an intermittant connection on the timer or any circuits in there, moisture from washings can cause connection failure, good luck caution, always use an insulated tool when performing any of these tips
I have a GE washer model # whre5260e1ww the washer
Greetings,
I've worked on many of these machines and since I can't physically speak to you about problems...I'll do the next best thing and tell you what it might be...
#1 if the motor is going bad, it will overheat and cut off and stay off 10 minutes to maybe 3/4 of an hour and then come back on..
#2 the main board can be going bad and stops by itself
There really isn't that much on this model to cause your problem...I pray this helps you,Bruce Denton
Is it possible to slow down or reduce the rate at
There is no flow adjustment on the drain on any washing machine, I had a similar problem on my old washing machine, I discovered the problem was the waste water pipe in my house was clogged with scum from detergent residue, I poured liquid plumber where the washing machine drain hose goes into the waste pipe in the house waited for 1/2 hour, then filled the washing machine with hot water, reinserted the drain hose, and wrapped it up with duct tape to prevent further leaks, and the force of hot water uncloged the pipe, .Problem solved
