open the right cover where you normally remove the paper jams,then open front cover/door where you put toner,lift the green handle up,push green lock towards the right side while pulling the hopper out,then theres a connector beneath the PCU,pull it then pull out the PCU,use the same same procedure to put it in,start with the PCU,return the connector and put in the hopper,then close all doors/covers

you dont need installation disk just log on to copier via the ip adress and set it up via the web interface. the log on is admin or administrator

Yes, You can change the settings in user tools.

How many copies on that machine? The photoconductor unit on that model only goes 45,000 copies. If the machine wont tone up and the pcu is old i would replace it and calibrate to see if the problem goes away. The pcu is cheap for that model. Start there would be my advice.

You can not stop a firmware update.
Did you turn the machine off while the firmware update? If you did that your NVram is broken
I think that the only chance you have is with a new NVram. Sorry but you will have to put a new NVram.

The driver in not diferent for TCP/IP or USB. The driver is the same.
You just need to configure the LPT port and connect your machine to that port (usb port)

one has nothing to do with the other.but to get rid of the cannot connect to dhcp gotouser toolson the top u will see a few tabs.. select the network tab.one of the options will be ip . select it and select specify.then press ok and exit user tools. that will get rid of the cannot connect error.but again it has nothing to do with the faxing

This will depend on the connection type you want to make.
If you have a switch you need a straight UTP cable. But if you want to connect the machine directly to the PC you will need a crossover cable.
Do not forget that your machine model uses network scaning (I am talking about scan-to-folder). For that you need to creat a shared folder (in your PC with full permitions) and a user (in the machine) with the correct path.

Can you make a simple diagnostic test to see where the problem is?
Plug in a telefone in the fax board and dial the number you whant to send the fax.

overload of the main motor or fusing unit (SC 500)

Look at your fusing unit, (rollers, thermistor, lamp, gears...)

and don't forget to reset SC code in SP mode.
