Try going into Control Panel > Printers and Properties, right-click on your printer icon and go into Printer Preferences for that printer. Make sure both Page Size and Output Size are set for the the same size of what you are printing (Letter, Letter/Legal, Legal/A4,A4, etc). Often, Output size is set to Match Page Size...that was causing the problem for me.

Go to the scanner company website and see if there are drivers available for download. Sounds as if you may not have the proper drivers installed.

simply take a moist cloth and clean the strip glass .the dust on the strip glass is causing the lines.u might have to remove the flatbed glass to access the inside of the strip glass.

it is related to CIS unit and SCNT Board. check it. if it is demage you require to replace it.

You have to clean the small piece of glass that is right under the adf paper path...... Good Luck... The mark or dirt is on that glass..... Follow the paper path of the paper when it goes through the adf

First, try changing some Document Feed Rollers etc.

FC8-9251-000 is the pickup roller
FL3-1023-000 is the separation pad FM3-8679-000 is the feed roller

That would fix 80% of the problems you may encounter

You can't, plus it will not help on a digital phone system. ALL fax machines are ANALOG devices.

there is a real possiblity that one of the sensor flags for feeding the paper has gotten stuck or has broken off which is not setting off the sensor for the paper jam. Or there is a very small piece of paper stuck in the sensor that is keeping it from clearing,

Pull out the toner crg., and if there are streaks on the drum, replace crg. If there is no streaks on the drum, clean the copy glasses.

Paper jams can be tricky to solve. The paper is usually stuck inside the printer mechanism so even if there is no visible paper jam, you will still get the paper jam error. Try this:

1. Turn off your copier
2. Open all trays and remove any paper stuck there
3. Locate the button to open the printer, open it and remove any paper stuck there also.
4. Repeate the above step for all buttons that you can find to access the inside of the copier
5. Close all doors and put back all trays
6. Turn on your copier
