Why won't my lg ductless heat pump regulate the room temperature?
After I have been reading up on your unit it appears that the thermostat is not operating correctly. I found this real basic information on installation for your unit. This link I am giving is pretty basic instal schematics. But seems to be something about your thermostat needs to be dialed in or is not working properly.

they are excellent and very efficient sytems
i have a muti pass ductless in my home and swear by it so much i went to school for them
I am now a mitsubishi cert expert
and cannot sing the praisees high enouhg for the ductless systems

Hello,
The problem is from the sensor on the the receiver unit, the sensor that on the receiver unit that sense the transmission from the remote is bad, that is why the wall receiver unit is not picking, the sensor on the wall receiver unit will need to be replace, once it is replace, the problem should be solve.

Brand new equipment compressor work 5 minutes,
sounds like your slugin oil back to compressor and its over working itself especially cause you have low amprage,you need to pull a vacum on the systemm and bring it down to -25 psi and hold that vac.charge for a good 2 or 3 hrs and then recharge with new freon not the freon that was pull out of system,dont flip jug or try to put any liquid in even know the system will act like it wants liquid just add the gas slowly and it will eventually recoop it charge and amprage should rise to 8.9 to 9.2 depending on the outside temp.note: if this unit is under warranty by manufacture they should replace it due to the fact of a brand new unit that has never ran properly since installed call manufacture for complete waranty details heres the basic warranty this unit comes with and phone # - WARRANTY

The E8 code indicates that the unit is in an overload situation. This can happen when the air is too hot/humid. Make sure that the air around the unit is below 90 degrees F. It can also happen if there is a buildup of dirt or dust on the filter, at the air intakes and the exhaust ports.
You should be able to check the filter for dirt and dust yourself. If you can, try to check for any insect nests, leaves or grass in the window well. You probably need someone else to help you clean the rest of the unit.
