When you replaced the pump I am assuming you replaced the whole assembly that pumps water for the wash and drain. See item 310 in this diagram.

If the dishwasher goes through the wash cycle then it was unlikely the thing that was faulty. The pump is shared by both the wash and drain cycle. It is likely the impeller (item 429) is not getting the pulse to change direction so that it draws water from the drain sump to the drain hose rather then to the wash arms as it does in wash cycle. The solenoid connection might be faulty or the controller output is not there.

Hi

The issue is with the water not draining as something might be blocking the drain pump assembly thus the water is leaking. To solve this issue you'll have to take the front lower access panel out and then clean the drain pump assembly completely, also clean the impeller and chopper assembly located at the bottom of the unit. After this is done the issue should be resolved, if not then check the float switch mechanism and make sure that is fine. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

Hi, well indeed it could need the drain valve checked out, with view to replacement, however, it could also be a blocked jet(s) in the spray arm(s)? One simply must check out any eventuality,in these instances. Often these jets get blocked or clogged up and this in turn causes the water to not be sprayed as forcefully as it should, it doesn't take hardly anything to affect these jets it's surprising. Another thing that may also cause this to happen is a drop in water pressure, to the actual spray arm via the pump, or indeed the connection hoses, so all must be inspected to isolate the blockage if one is suspected?
It may pay first, to descale you DW, this may clean it out and clear any minor blockages away, it is worth a try anyway usually? There are commercial and home remedies available, just Goggle for any advice on this if you want.
To do anything one needs a service manual, without one it is very difficult if not impossible to effectively repair and service any machine, & if only to get the parts numbers for any spares that maybe required, not to mention the troubleshooting and disassembly instructions.
I have looked for one but have been unable to locate any?
Should one not wish to DIY, then it is always my professional recommendation to contact a local or head office of your units manufacturer, GE, and ask for a referral to an authorised service center/man, and then make contact with them, and obtain only a "Quote" as to the prospective repair, and then make up ones mind what to do then.

Check the drain located in the bottom of the dishwasher by removing the tray. It may be a clog. If there is no clog you can remove the drain hose from under the sink, get a bucket hold the hose in the bucket and try to drain it into the bucket. If it drains in the bucket the clog is in the sink drain, if not it can be a clog in the hose. If none of that works it could be the pump on the dishwasher. Good luck.

rs, in the back under the screen is a piston nut assy. This is a common problem on these GE's. The seal on the assy. becomes warped or worn and when this happens we get water left in the tub after drain. It's an easy fix. The screen comes off and the pistion nut assy. simply unscrews. The part number is WD24X220. You can look it up on the net, inexpensive. Catriver..post back.

Check the filter and clean it. Also check the whirling arms that go around the dishwasher - if any of the holes are blocked, they won't turn and the dishwasher won't clean.
