Hi, I have an HP G60t 200 laptop, and the fan

thanks for showing the 200. G60t-200. they made lots of 60s. the fan on all PC's need to be cleaned every year or they all pack up and overheat or make noise. if the the fan, free of any lint makes noise (not blow sound)but racket, sounds, the bearing inside are shot. no fan made lasts for ever, but longer that the HDD, and batteries, for sure. but way less the 20-30years or more for CHIPS. its just a dc brush motor with bearings. some are AC motors inside,(with 3 phase driver inside and no brushes, fancy) but is of no matter, noise bad is bad fan. its really that simple. keep in mind folks in text box can not hear your bad fan. so answers will be, wrong, 1/2 the time. here. due to , all work like this is hands on ears on eye on job and lots of experience. if the blades are free ,of JUNK. and it makes bad sounds, its bad. simple as that. except in the cases of its falling out , screws missing , or loose. like I said I cant see it.

Hp g60t went into hibernation last friday it

This issue could be due to presence of static charges or internal hardware malfunction of the notebook. To isolate the exact cause of the issue, perform the steps provided below.

Step 1: Hard Reset

To perform a hard reset, please follow the steps listed below:

1. Unplug the AC adapter from the notebook PC and remove from any port replicator or docking station.
2. Remove the battery from the notebook battery compartment.
3. Press and hold down the power button for about 20 seconds.
4. Insert the battery and plug the AC adapter back into the notebook PC.
5. Press the power button to turn the notebook PC back on.

This will discharge the static charges from the notebook. Now turn on the notebook and check for the issue. If the issue persists, then remove and reseat the memory modules of the notebook and check for the issue.

Step 2: Remove and Reseat the Memory Modules

You can refer the service manual provided below for information to remove and reseat the memory modules of the notebook.

http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c01602064.pdf

Refer page no: 52 & 53
NOTE: PDF manuals require the Adobe Acrobat Reader for viewing and printing.
Further, if the issue persists after performing the above steps, then the issue could be due to hardware malfunction of the video card or defective LCD display screen of the notebook. Hence, I recommend you to connect an external monitor to the notebook and then check whether the display works fine on external monitor or not.

Step 3: External Monitor

You can follow the steps listed below to connect an external monitor to the notebook.

1. Turn off the notebook.
2. Connect the monitor cable from the external monitor to the monitor port on the rear of the computer.
3. Connect the monitor to a power source and turn it on.
4. Press the Power button to turn on the computer.

At this time, please follow the instructions mentioned below for switching the display to the external monitor:

The notebook's video card supports three modes. Built-in screen only; external video only; and both on simultaneously (mirrored). If you're not seeing the image on the desired device(s), the notebook's video card is probably in another mode. Press FN + F4 to cycle through the display options: Notebook display, External monitor, both.

If you press FN + F4 once, the external monitor will display & there will be no Notebook LCD display.
If you press FN + F4 twice, the external monitor will display & there will be some shading on the Notebook LCD.
If you press FN + F4 thrice, both Notebook LCD & external monitor will display.

If the issue persists on the external monitor, then this could be due to defective video card on the notebook. However, if the display on the external monitor is fine, then the issue is with the LCD display panel of the notebook. In either cases, the notebook requires a detailed onsite diagnosis by a service technician.

I believe the information provided would be helpful to isolate the issue with your notebook.

My computer isnt recognizing that

Sounds like one of two things. Either you have a bad cord or the motherboard connection that facilitates charging is bad. The easiest way to determine this is to pick up a new cord and test it out. I recommend grabbing a Targus Universal Charger from Staples. The reason being, that if it doesn't work they have a very nice 14 day return policy without a restocking fee. If it doesn't work, you know you have a bad connection on your motherboard and proceed from there, which means bringing it to a reputable retailer for service.

Computer seems to be totally dead both on battery

Hi,

I guess it could be hardware issue. It may well be worth taking it to a local computer store and ask them what the problem is. You should be able to get an opinion for free and a quote for the repair.

Could be the power jack is loose and that can be fixed by any computer professional at the repair center.

My Hp g60 laptop battery is not working

If the laptop battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be worn out. Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cycles and will lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% and gradually the charge reduces until the battery won't charge up at all.
OR The battery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected the battery drops off to zero capacity in a very short time.
If the battery drops to an unacceptable charge level then the battery needs to be replaced.

Sorry, clicked the wrong button.

When you are configuring the security features of your wireless router, you can choose certain encryption algorithm that requires you to enter, not a meaningless hexadecimal character string (the hex key), but a sentence or a phrase that you can easily remember. That is the pass phrase. If you are trying to configure YOUR router, you choose any meaningful, easily remembered statement (ex: the sky is blue and it is raining on Timbuktu etc.). If however you are trying to use somebody else's network, the owner of the network is the one to ask for the key.
