Hi Zelda, its not un-common. You will probably find that it is a build up of dust inside the laptop. So if you know someone with an air compressor, you can take out the battery keep the screen open and blow through the cooling vents underneath and on the sides. If not you could go to a service station where you would inflate your tyres on your car and take your laptop with you and a friend to hold it for you.Hope that helpsSteve

On the bottom side of the laptop, there's a large separate plastic plate, when you unscrew all the screws holding that plate, you should see something like on that picture, I assume. Then you need to unscrew the screw holding cpu's heatsink (X shape thing) in place. Unplug the cable and you are halfway finished. When replacing the fan and the heatsink, be sure to apply thermal paste between cpu and heatsink.

depending on what type of computer you have you should be able to go to the bottom right of the computer and click on the bars that look like the picture, then find the network you want and follow the directions

If you were to log on to the manufacturer's web site, I think you will be pleasantly surprised as usually one is able to download, by model number, Customer Instruction Manuals, list of Dealers, for spare parts and service, Driver downloads and Installation Instructions as required.

Just Google the manufacturer's name and follow the links. Make certain you are directed to the manufacturer's web site as some search engines direct you to other sites and they charge for the information that is normally free of charge.

Its a typical failure of MSI fans from those times. Unfortunately the exchange part will not solve your problem. (I read it in comments lots of times.) I own a VR610 and fixed the problem with grease. I disassembled the fan and took out the paddle wheel. I cleaned the pin and the hole both and filled the hole with grease. I used small portion of (lithium based) grease like on bicycle. The fan is noiseless since 1,5 years. :)

You have activated most likelly with "Fn" <capslock> those tiny small ciphers on the keys nobody normally tazkes notice of and not all keyboards have them. Unlock by pressing Fn <capslock> again. Some laptops have exrtra keys for locking the keyboards. in case you have - try those.

there may not be a Windows 7 specific driver. try using the windows vista driver. many times when there is no win 7 the vista one will work. win 7 realy is the full version of vista anyway
