MSI u100, 2 years old,
Thank you for using FixYa
Hey I can understand your frustration. I have an MSI PR400 laptop and I had a similiar issue while it was new and in warranty. They put a new motherboard in mine. I read that you tried it with and without battery. Did you remove the battery completely and restart? There is a slight possiblity that it is the power supply not charging the battery. You say there is a green light, but is it green on the adaptor? If so the charger is probably good. If you are handy with electronics you could try to get a reading with a volt meter on the tip of the charger. I don't see an easy solution and you will probably endup taking it in for repair. Did you push the reset button? Some models have one. I wish I could help more but that is about it on a notebook since it is a closed unit. You will need to take it to a qualified service center.
I hope this was useful and please comment if this was helpful to you.

Sir
ihave laptop of ACER
Web cameras won't turn on until a program accesses them. Most laptops with a built in web cam come with software to take pictures and video.
Try clicking on the windows icon (start menu) and typing "cam" into the search bar. This should bring up the web camera application to test and make sure it is working. You could also use an application like skype or a website that allows live camera uploads like youtube (account required).
If this doesn't work, make sure there is a driver properly installed and the hardware is working in device manager (control panel > system & security > device manager tab).
Please leave feedback if this was helpful.

I have mmc error on my msi u100
Problems with MMC is usually it is not working correctly or not working at all. Most of the time is has been caused by a corrupt MMC configuration file. All you have to do to fix this is delete or rename the old configuration file and the MMC will create a new one automatically.
The MMC configuration file is located in your Application Data folder and is associated with each User—not each computer.
An example of the path to the config files:
C:\Documents and Settings\"User"\Application Data\Microsoft\MCC (local App Data)

Extend screen to tv while keeping desktop on computer
Depending on the brand, you should hit function, then F7.
Then you can cycle through the modes. Normal (just the laptop screen) , TV (or video) out, and last mode is screen AND TV out.
I used to set up laptops for presentations, and I would hook up a video projector to the VGA out, then the presenter could look at his screen and use the mouse while folks followed him on the big screen behind him.

My msi windnotebook is always 0% charge
If the
laptop battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be worn out.
Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cycles and
will lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% and
gradually the charge reduces until the battery won't charge up at all. OR The
battery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected the battery
drops off to zero capacity in a very short time. If the battery drops to an
unacceptable charge level then the battery needs to be replaced.
Rechargeable batteries will fail if stored in a discharged
state for long periods.
