first we will have to uninstall dell dock so go to contol pannel then to add remove programs and select dell dock and uninstall it , once it is done restart the computer , go to www.support.dell.com select drivers and download and enter the service tag of the system , it will pull up the specific drivers and application for that perticular system , select applications and download dell dock from the site and run it , it will rectify the problem .

Contact Dell Support for a one-time BIOS password.

Do you always shut down and unplug the laptop when not in use? Has it been cleaned recently? Fan, Vents, heatsink? Has there been ANY damage? It sounds like your Graphics Adapter. screen, Inverter, is going? Have to say exactly. Does the Laptop Overheat?

I have a Dell 1545 with Dell web cam central & I've had this issue. The problem is that Dell web cam central installs it's own microphone settings onto your laptop called something like Dell web cam Live!. This isn't the built in microphone in my laptop & maybe not yours either. You have to change the settings for your computer system & Dell web cam central. Go to start> control panel> sound> recording .. on mine there is an option for Microphone "High Definition Audio Device" ... that is the built in mic. You want that for your default & apply it. Then open Dell web cam central & go to the "Record Video's" option. In the middle of this is an orange button with a video camera icon. Next to this on the same button is a little arrow pointing down .. click that. Under microphone .. choose Microphone "High Definition Audio Device" just like the sound option in control panel. I've done this & it's completely fixed. I can record videos with sound & use my built in mic in voice/video chat.

Do a system restore with windows system restore, or use the recovery, or recovery disks.

Magnets do not affect LCD screens.If your screen is a CRT monitor then a magnet will cause this problem.Try turning off the monitor and back on several times and the degaussing coils on the monitor may fix this problem. If the screen is still discolored then take your monitor to a TV repairer and they can degauss your monitor with a more powerful degaussing tool.

The solutn is...please uninstall..the AHCL driver from ur pc..then the problm is solve...try it...thank u..

As SOON AS you press the Power On button, start tapping on the F2 key.Tap in 2 second intervals.If you hear beeps ignore them. They are Stuck Key Error Code beeps, and it is you that is doing it.Regards,joecoolvette

turn on your computer, and while its booting up, keep pressing f8 till you get to the dos screen, and choose safe mode. lets try to run your pc on safe mode

go to control panel

Remove the HDD and test, replace if necessary.

Your battery could be dead, if you plug in your charger and it still doesn't power up your motherboard isn't just fried, it's dead.

Try these procedures.
