possible resons... the fan motor is bad...the fan plug in the housing has vibrated out....the wire to the fan outlet came loose from the wire nut connection inside the electical box...
try plugging a light or other small electrical device into the fan plug and see if it works (be sure the wall switch is on) it will help you determine the remaining possibilities. try plugging the fan into an extension cord to see if it works, if it runs then the fan is ok and the problem is in the wiring connection. if it doesn't work, the fan motor is bad.

The replacement motor is available from several sources online. The best way is to purchase the new motor assembly. All you need to do is remove the blower housing from the ceiling, there are three screws that hold the motor assembly in place. The whole job takes about five minutes. This model has been discontinued but replacement motor assemblies are available. There is no off the shelf model that will fit in the existing housing. If you do not want to replace the housing then the motor assembly is the way to go.

I have done this before and it is hard. (big time)One time I just got annoyed and bent the washer and got a replacement one at the hardware store. Sometimes the nut will come off if you pull it gently while "unscrewing" it Try a little WD40 on the shaft to help the squirrel cage off. also prying up gently helps. Good luck.
