Solution:
Download the veo 330v drivers from this site: http://www.softsci.com/veodrivers.htm

Run the setup program. Cancel the automatic install.. It extracted the setup files to c:\setup
Browse to that directory, right click on setup, properties, compatibility, set it to xp sp2 compat. close the properties. Install. Unplug usb, replug. Vista WILL find and install drivers and they DO work. They work with Yawcam, MSN Messenger at least. I haven't tested with any other software. This is on the Vista Ultimate Edition at least..

You can also check this website http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/support_downloads/downloads/&cl=us,en and enter the product and model number so you can download the drivers and install it.

Normal 0 Web Camera’s have to be setup on the program they are to be used with. Just installing the camera on your computer does not set it up to broadcast on messengers or Skype.

Each program has Options that have to be setup in order for the Audio and Video to function properly.

A. Skype Setup:

After downloading and installing Skype set it up as follows:

1. Go to TOOLS, then OPTIONS, and click on Audio Settings and set the Microphone and Speakers to the computer Audio Card.
2. Then click on the Video Settings.
3. The camera if installed properly will come up and show a picture.
4. Then on the bottom of the page click on Save.

The camera and audio should function properly. Your friends and Family will now see and talk to you.

B. Yahoo Setup:

After downloading and installing Yahoo Messenger set it up as follows:

1. Go to Messenger at the top left and click on it.
2. Next go down to Preferences and click on it.
3. Next Calling and Devices on the right and set the Microphone and Speakers to the computer Audio Card.
4. Next go to the Test Audio section and (in blue writing) click on “Open the call setup assistant” and follow the instructions on the left window.

When done both the Audio and Video will function properly so you can chat and see family or friends you are connected to.

I lost CD for Veo Webcam 303vs24x001832 and need to install again on computer. Where can I get a free download of the software?

Click the start button then select all programs, find your web cam and right click on it and then select from the menu "sent to" then click on "desktop-create shortcut" then you can access the web cam from the desktop when ever needed.

YOu can adust the VEO using the application that comes with the camera!

make sure to use incandescent setting for lamp light -- there is also a setting for office flourescent light.

Right Click on Computer,
Select Manage, then access Device Manager!
Click on imaging devices then right click on laptop integrated webcam
Select uninstall.

Go in control panel, uninstall Dell webcam software and drivers!!
Restart your laptop

Then put in the driver CD! Install again the driver and utilities!

Before you can use your webcam in any chat program you have to configure it to that program
