Change it? Do you mean add songs to it? Read your manual, which is available from Apple's website if you have lost it. I use Windows Media Player instead of iTunes to transfer songs to it, but your personal preferences may vary. Also, the instructions are different if you own a Mac rather than a PC - give us your computer name, OS, exact model # of your apple, because you said "Nano," but posted it in the "shuffle" section, and restate your qustion and we might help you.

Use ITunes or Windows Media Player to drag music files from your computer to the IPod - both of these programs have excellent help sites/toll-free phone numbers and online chat support that would be inifinitely more helpful than anything we can tell you here. My personal vote is for Windows Media Player, but your preferences may vary.

follow Apple's 5 R's:
These are for Nano, but they apply to all iPods:
Reset, Retry, Restart, Reinstall, Restore
Remember these five basic suggestions if you have a problem with your iPod nano. If
one of the following doesn’t help, read on for solutions to specific problems.
â Reset your iPod nano. See “General Suggestions,” below.
â Retry with a different USB port if you cannot see iPod nano in iTunes.
â Restart your computer and make sure you have the latest software updates
installed.
â Reinstall iPod and iTunes software from the latest versions on the web.
â Restore your iPod nano. See “Updating and Restoring iPod Software” on page whatever.

i understood your problem ........The best solution is to use Format Factory software to convert your FLAC music file to any music file format like mp3,mp4,aac,mxmmf,midi,wav....etc..

After converting you can able to play music on your i-pod

If you have apple's I-pod then you requires I-tunes Software to sync the music files to your I-pod....

here i am giving you the link of format factory software enjoy....

If your iPhone has been disabled, it is completely locked down. The only way you'll be able to use it again is by restoring it using iTunes or iCloud. If you have a backup, you'll be able to recover your data, but this process will delete everything that is stored on the iPhone. Except for the following four ways, there is no other way to unlock a disabled iPhone.
Step 1. Connect your iPhone to the computer with via a USB cable that your iPhone has trusted.
Step 2. Launch iTunes. If you've synced your iPhone with iTunes, then no "enter password" is required.
Step 3. iTunes will automatically sync your iPhone and create a backup file. If it doesn't, you should sync your iTunes and create a backup file manually by clicking "Back up Now" in the Summary window.
Step 4. In the Summary window, you can see the option "Restore iPhone". Click it to reset your iPhone. Once the reset process is complete, you'll be taken through the iPod's initial setup process.
Step 5. Select "Restore from iTunes backup" during the setup process. This will load the backup that you created so that all of your data is restored.

You are not likely to be able to use it with that vehicle, That version of IPOD is 16 years older than you car. There wont be drivers available for it. You cannot change the car system, you may be able to get an audio jack if the car has AUX in.

Power it down and back up. Then check the brightness control in settings. If that doesn't fix it, it needs repairing. Probably just re-seating the connections on the display.
