Tv shows power but no

The flashing light indicates a power supply problem. If the set is under warranty, exchange it.

If your warranty is expired, take the set to a good TV repair shop and ask for an estimate.

Hello, I'm having an issue with my Sanyo

Hi,
It only tells us that the inverter cable needs to be reseated or replaced. It's not an expensive repair so fortunately you can consult any local certified technician and have them work on this.

Picture has blackish coverings that move across the screen ... those areas can not be seen well. Comes & goes. We turn it off for a bit & then it works fine but comes back.

Sounds like The main power supply regulator section circuit fault. Either it will be a separate board, or the part of main board. Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis rather than making "Surgery" to it; which usually will make loss for both money and time. Even though you can make it right, it will cost around an amount equal to the cost of a new board; including the cost of (spare parts + service charge) More to say, most of the spare parts to it will be difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. This is true to most of the flat panel TV power supply boards; irrespective of its brand and screen size. Search the site by type in the "brand name" to your device; in the "Search box at the top right of the display window of the Homepage" to get gathered related posts.

How do I get streaks off the screen?

I use a brand new microfiber cloth. Mist the cloth with a spray bottle a few times with clean water. And brush the screen lightly with only the microfiber by folding the cloth into a square. If the stain is persistent try a LCD screen cleaning product

How do I fix my TV that will give an image after powering on, and then make it go so dark you can't see it?

This is what happens when the backlighting circuit fails. It can either be the lamp or the inverter board. This is one reason the newer TVs/Monitors are using LED backlighting. They last longer. Typical LCD backlighting can fail in as little as three years if they are left on full time.

Dnttv cuts on and off

Are you sure of the part number? I do not see a 1aa4d10n202oa among the parts for the Sanyo DP42848. I did find the 1aa4b10n2020a (key control) from several sites but there is a 3 digit prefix on the part number at Shop Jimmy . com among others. (Not all sites have this in stock.)

I hope this helps.
