Open internal fuse or power supply failure

It is broken. Take it to a registered LG service engineer. DON'T try and fix it yourself. People on Fixya try all the time, but it never works. You need to do the 2 year course and learn how to diagnose at component level. There are some good videos on YouTube that show this and reveal what knowledge these people have. Another big problem is that 'Guaranteed' boards you buy off ebay and stripped from scrapped televisions and are faulty, so you replace a board and it doesn't work, so you buy another, and another, and then all the boards have been replaced. The problem was that your first replacement board was kaput!

Also if it is a plasma, it is old. Time for a new 4k Ultra-HD set, technology has moved on.

These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/
Blinking codes details to many popular brand TVs are given. Surf the site with patience. If blinks continue without any pause, the main board is faulty.
Counting of number of blinks to Philips TVs is entirely different to that of other brand TVs. It is not a direct count procedure. The site have details about how to count the number of LED blinks [Fault Codes] to Philips brand TVs are given; along with details of the faulty circuit location.

The click sound is the power relay coming on and off. The tv is sensing a power problem and shutting itself off. If you are handy, remove the back of set , disconnect the connectors to each board and check voltages out of the power supply. If they are not to speck, replace power supply board. If they are ok, reconnect one board at a time and see if power stays on. You should be able to find the bad board this way. Visually inspect each board for burned components or swollen capacitors.

Your backlight inverter board is likely bad. If you're handy it is relatively easy to replace. Google for replacement part.
if you can see a picture while shining a flashlight on the screen then it is most likely the inverter board. Backlights provide the light through the lcd screen for brightness.

Hi Larry, for what you say, you have badly the Main Board or the LCD Panel, you can try disconnecting one of the connections between the T-Con Board and the LCD Panel and see if you see a half-screen image, try disconnecting one at a time , if half of the image appears in any of the image, the problem is in the LCD Panel, if nothing appears, then you would have badly the Main Board
I hope you can solve the problem

Hi Troy, when you say blank screen, it's an illuminated screen or you just want to say a screen without a dark image
If it is the latter, it is very feasible that the fault is in the LEDs, try turning on the TV in a dark room and with the help of a flashlight, illuminate the panel on the inside and back, to see if there is an image
If the case is a screen that looks white, the lighting would be fine and the problem could be on the Main Board

. not enough information to suggest a fix.

if all you got when you did the auto setup was 18 channels, that is because that's all the channels that your tuner could pick up in your area. There is no additional settings you can make or changes that will give you additional programs without an improved antenna system. Without knowing what kind of antenna you have there's no way to suggest an improvement.

You should have manual buttons on the tv itself to control input and volume. It appears it is defaulting to antenna channel 3 and low volume when first powered on. You can buy universal remotes to control your set.

Go into the tellys setup menu and select update channels then go to auto and it will find all the local stations.

turn it off manually on the telly or at the wall switch. Get yer self a universal remote from walmart for around $5.
