Sounds like a power board issue. Unfortunately this is a common problem in flat screen TVs. Typicality this happens after the tv is three years old or older. Some will last several years. Try opening your menu options and search for "updates" Usually when you set your TV for the first time it usually guides you to do this firmware update. Try acting like your are setting up your TV for the first time and maybe it will have a option for this.

When liquid drips onto the x buffer boards (located along the bottom edge of the display panel ) the liquid Will damage the ribbon cables that are connected to the display panel. I'm guessing. you are watching the freeview.... if it is then there is a setting in the free view setting to sync sound and picture. find that it should be set a ( 0 ). sometimes just doing a system rest will sort it out. On the freeview setting.

Lightning damage can do a # on LCD TV's. I've seen cases where it took out power supplies and main boards at the same time. I'm not one who likes to use the "shot gun" approach. You would need to get the set professionally diagnosed in my opinion. Where did you get the main board from?? Are you sure it is a working board?
