I ended up figuring it out myself. I inserted my sd card in my pc, copied everything into a folder, went in my computer & right clicked my sd card, (labeled blackberry) formatted it. Reinstalled my stuff from the folder I copied, and inserted it in my new phone. Voila!
Only problem now, my ringtones do not work, says file too big. & The phone tends to occasionally have a brain fart and lock up or erase my info. This is a cheap crappy phone.......

I had the same problem. Turn off the phone, take out the battery for 20 or 30 seconds and put it back in. Fixed my phone like a charm.

Sounds like a problem with the phone's software. The memory could be damaged, or the software could just be corrupt. I'd suggest taking it to a phone repair shop to repair this fault.

just remove the batteries and refit them. If u have a soft reset just do it. This works most of the times
