Looking for the age of GE Profile Range Model JB968SOK1 ser VH267627Q

Based on the serial number you provided, VH267627Q, it appears that your GE Profile Range Model JB968SOK1 was manufactured in 2006. The first letter of the serial number represents the year of manufacture, with "V" indicating the year 2006. The second and third digits represent the week of the year it was manufactured, with "H2" indicating the 26th week (or late June) of that year.

JT952S GE double oven was in self clean stage and after 1 1/2 hours of F9 blinking error.

This sounds like a blown thermal fuse. You can point to point wire in place of the fuse for checking. I have personally fixed many of these and its is nine out of ten times the thermal fuse.

On my GE Profile Spectra oven, the Bake touchpad button, doesn't work. All the other touchpad modes work. So, I can not use my oven except to broil. What should I do first?

Replace the board located in your panel. It sounds as though the button port is worn out. You might try removing board and cleaning with a Q-tip and rubbing alcohol. Here are also some other things worth trying.

2015 GE gas oven front display not working, using both ovens for baking a few days ago and display went out and now nothing. House breaker is good

Sounds like your thermal fuse has blown. I have included a video. This part is either ceramic or round metal. This is not an uncommon problem to have. Especially after running broiler or self clean mode. All main power is cut off by a blown thermal fuse. In some cases, on ovens that have door lock. The door will remain locked. Normally the Thermal Fuse is located under stove top. All gas and electric ovens and dryers are equipped a thermal fuse for safety reasons.

Where is the spark module located on GE profile C2s985set7ss

The spark module on a GE Profile C2S985SET7SS front panel dual fuel stove is typically located behind the control panel or near the burner controls. It may be accessible by removing the control panel or by accessing a service panel on the back of the stove. For specific instructions on accessing the spark module, it is recommended to consult the owner's manual for your stove or contact a professional repair service.

Broiler element in a GE model JBP26GS1WH electric range comes on by itself and won't turn off. Continuity is 16.5 which I believe is the correct number. Control panel seems to work normally.

Tis most likely a stuck relay on the oven temperature control circuit board. GEEEEER! Repairclinic.com or Appliancepartspros.com Their coustomer srevice people can help you by phone. Best to you

My ge xl44 range left burners do not ignite. When the left buttons\ are pressed for igniting, the igniting sounds are heard in the right burners but the left burners do not ignite.

It sounds like you are having a problem with the ignition system on your GE XL44 range. The ignition system is responsible for lighting the gas burners on your range, and if it is not functioning properly, the burners will not ignite. There are a few things you can try to fix this problem:
  1. Make sure that the burners and the ignition system are clean. If the burners or ignition system are clogged with debris, it can prevent the burners from lighting.
  2. Check the ignition system for any visible damage or debris. If the ignition system is damaged or clogged, it may not be functioning properly.
  3. Check the electrical connections on the ignition system to make sure they are secure.
  4. If the problem persists after trying these steps, it may be necessary to have the ignition system inspected by a technician to determine the cause of the issue.
It is also possible that there is a problem with the gas supply to the burners or some other issue, so it may be worth having a technician inspect the range to diagnose the problem.

The audio quit on my GE profile range. I don't see anything on the parts list of the owner's manual for the beep. Is there a part to replace to get the beeping back?

Limited help here, but try turning off mains power for 5 minutes. The sounder is probably on the control board and they are expensive. https://www.google.com/search?q=ge+profile+range+no+beeps ..

I have a GE Model number 326B1036P001 slide in range. I need to know the amperage of the circuit to connect it to.

To properly install your GE Model number 326B1036P001 slide-in range, you must determine the type of electrical connection you will be using and follow the instructions provided for it. Generally, a 40A circuit is acceptable. However, if you add or need to use a 50 amp circuit, you must ensure that the wiring and breaker size is sufficient with no breaker issues. To determine if the thermal fuse has blown, you can use a multimeter to test it.

I have an GE xl400 range and the stove works and the broiler works however the oven does not ignite. Any fixes

Hi, please open your window, open the oven door and then attempt to turn on the oven. If it does not ignite at that point, it would be time to schedule a repair through GE or your closest home depot. Opening your window allows for more oxygen to flow into your location. This is important for allow fire/ignition to occur. The open oven door would ensure that we had good source of oxygen to allow for ignition. Now, if the oven does ignite, then you can close the door and move forward. Thank you.

I have a GE stove - under the lift top portion there is a little silver cover, when lifting this cover is there supposed to be insulation in with the wires?

Yes there is. It stops the wires getting the full heat of the oven and becoming brittle or if you have a self cleaning feature, it stops them melting.

GE XL44 Model JGBPOGEPGWH

I can't find the model number that you gave. I did find other GE XL44 ranges. Near the gas regulator of the range, there should be a conversion kit. You'll need to pull the range away from the wall to find the kit. Turn the gas shut-off to stop the gas flow and unplug the range for safety. The conversion kit includes the instructions for doing NG -> LP and back. The pictures here, https://www.appliancepartspros.com/door-drawer-parts-for-ge-jgbs20bea1ad.html , may help you find the gas line parts. There are a number of steps for the conversion. First, you need to flip a cap in the range's regulator. (When sold, the part is set for NG. You take it out and replace it after flipping it over (180) for LP.) For the stove top, take off the burner grates and burners. Next, you have to remove each burner orifice spuds (7 mm nut driver, IIRC) one at a time. Place the appropriate replacement orifice in that location. The orifice spuds are below the range surface so avoid dropping the parts. Each orifice spud has a letter with a different set of letters used for the NG and LP versions. Inside the oven, you need to access the oven orifice spud. This requires taking off panels inside the oven. Replace the orifice spud, as with the surface burners. You'll also need to adjust the air flow for the oven. Finally, turn the gas shut-off valve to on and plug in the power cord. Test the burners and adjust them following the directions in the instructions. There is a blurb about finding the conversion kit and instructions on page 42 of the user's guide, available on the product page: https://www.geappliances.com/appliance/GE-30-Free-Standing-XL44-Standard-Clean-Gas-Range-JGBS20BEAAD . The current link to the manual is https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-85135.PDF . I hope this helps. Cindy Wells (Since LP and NG pressures are very different, I hope your range was already converted to the LP regulator and orifice studs. Then all you just need to adjust the air/gas ratio to get a blue flame.)
