remove the electric cook top from wall, wait for about an hour, then pug it back in. If it still displays "Wait", then be patient because it seems its loading.

If it doesn't come out of wait after a while, then it means there is a fault.

their is no cleaning of contacts, they are sealed units..have to replace the switch,
you have to remove the entire range from the counter top..will take 2 people

The light what we call sparking is produced by a MODULE SPARK Part Number: AP3993727 made by GE, item no 318, This module by turning any of your Knobs item no 29 it produce the sparking by a switch which is connecting the wiring of the VALVE GAS Part Number: AP3994025 made by GE, item no 314 to the above MODULE SPARK.

So either the switch attached to the GAS VALVE is stuck on (sometimes this happen after some water spillage over the knob, or just by long time use. In this case you have to remove the two wires on the valve you have the e sparking always on if the sparking goes OFF then replace this valve switch. If you still have the sparking then you need a new SPARK MODULE.

You can reach all parts mention above by removing all burners complete, bases, heads, lids and then lift up the MAINTOP.

Hi,

When you smell rubber burning it means the belt is slipping. Usually this happens because the roller is seizing up. Pull the roller out (normally you can do this by removing a few screws) and check to see if hair or carpet strands are clogging it up. If it seems clear replace the roller and belt.

It is a gas appliance. From the installation manual. Installation and service must be performed by a qualified installer, service agency or the gas supplier. It needs to come out as there is almost certainly fixings from below. Screws on the burners, only hold the burner rings down. Take out the right front burner and use your multimeter to check it for continuity. Only then can you be sure that the error code isn't lying to you. It is my guess, that with an error message so specific, that if no burners are working, it is not the front right burner at all. Hands on testing is the only way to be sure. F152 means the right front burner has failed, the sensor in it is bad, the burner will need to be replaced.
