I am seeing that this tstat says it handles 24-277 volts but when specs are pulled this tstat is a high voltage tstat. Obviously it could be done but what you really need is a simple 24 volt tstat wired to r and w. You can also get a tstat that doesnt have batteries if you wired in the C terminal.

Doesn't matter, both work correctly. This is for looping the wires through, but both are connected internally.

Usually the nutural is in the power cord box beside the hot. The ground is also there but is a screw that you fatsen the ground to

Hi. All motors have the wiring schematics either stamped on a metal tag that is attached to the shell. If it is is not there. It will be on a paper tag on the inside of the main wiring cover. Just so you know and to cover myself. All electrical repairs have to be performed by a licensed electrician. Improper installation and handling can cause a fire,damage of property, injury or *****. The wires are labeled L1, L2, L3, L4 and so on. If there isn't a tag you will need to send it out for service. Please let me know if there is anything else. Good Luck.

Hi. Would you please elaborate on the "No Restart". Will the fan turn on but no flame or is there just nothing? To reset this heater it needs to be unplugged for up to two minutes. If the thermostat is restarting the heater in short intervals you may not be able to use a thermostat. Please let me know about recent maintenance and if the fuel and air filters are up to date.
