Make sure the oven door hinges are open fully and locked then reseat making sure the notch on the bottom of the hinges seats on the cabinet locating plate, then release the hinges and close the door....theese hinges can take your fingers off so be very careful

No way is it set at Centigrade.Even at 288 that would be almost 600 F.I have a link to GE error messages,and it says something about resetting your control.The first one on the link should be the correct one.There are instructions on what to do,or so it appears.If you need help,just comment to this post and I will get an auto link.Good luck! That means the range is not connected properly, or the power supply to it is not correct. The range needs the neutral (along with one of the hot leads) to supply the 120 volt portion of the voltage required to operate the control. On built in ovens, the red and black are connected to the two hot supply wires, the white to neutral, and the green or bare copper wire to ground. If your supply only has three incomming wires (older homes) then the green (or bare copper wire) and white are both connected to the neutral.
