Place the mixer bowl in the freezer. The amount of time required depends on the temperature of your freezer, but you should expect to leave it in the freezer for about one day prior to use. To check if the bowl is frozen, shake it gently. If you don't hear any liquid sloshing around inside, it's ready to use.
2Place the mixer bowl onto the motor base when you're ready to make ice cream. Insert the mixing paddle into the bowl and place the cover over the bowl.
3Turn on the ice cream maker and pour the ice cream mixture into the hole at the center of the appliance until it reaches the fill line. Do not exceed the fill line, as the ice cream will increase in volume as it freezes. Use the low setting if you want a firm ice cream and the High setting if you want a softer consistency. Do not add nuts, candy or chocolate chips at this stage as they can become hung up in the mixing paddle and stop the machine.
4Cover the center hole with the cap and allow the ice cream maker to run for 30 to 45 minutes.
5Add mix-in ingredients such as nuts and candies two minutes before shutting down the machine.
6Turn off and unplug the machine prior to removing the ice cream from the bowl. GE recommends using plastic or rubber utensils to avoid scratching the inside of the mixer bowl.

"keep fresh lid" is it needful?
The stay fresh lid is just for use in the freezer. It keeps the cannister fresh. I store my ice cream or whats left of it in another container. I don't think you would have to get a replacement. Maybe you could store the cannister in a large Ziploc bag or something similar. Hope this helps!
Gel Canister replacement
These are now discontinued, but I did come across a couple of sites under GE Ice Cream Makers Model 106765 where you may have some luck.
Ice cream maker freezes and stops turning after only 20 minutes. I set the time for 60 minutes.
If your ice cream maker freezes and stops turning after only 20 minutes, there may be a few reasons for this. Here are some things to check:
Freezing temperature: Make sure that the temperature in your freezer is set to the correct temperature (around 0°F or -18°C). If the freezer is too warm, the ice cream maker may not freeze the mixture properly.
Mixture consistency: Make sure that the mixture you are using is not too thick. If the mixture is too thick, the ice cream maker may struggle to turn the mixture and freeze it properly.
Overfilling: Make sure that you are not overfilling the ice cream maker. Overfilling can cause the mixture to overflow and prevent the machine from freezing the mixture properly.
Motor issue: If none of the above solutions work, there may be an issue with the motor of the ice cream maker. In this case, you may need to contact the manufacturer or a professional repair service to diagnose and fix the problem.
As for turning on the furnace and power in your Hitchhiker II trailer, you may need to refer to the owner's manual or contact the manufacturer for specific instructions, as the process may vary depending on the model and year of your trailer.
