Eureka the Boss central vac won't turn off unless unplugged at base unit. Reset switch doesn't do anything. It does turn off if low voltage is disconnected.

Eureka optima lightweight vacuum removing hose from body

There should be a push tab where the hose attaches to the vacuum. Just push the tab and turn to the left. That should release it. Then you should be able to get it back on the same way except you don't have to push the locking tab. It should just snap back on by twisting it to the right.

Can you tell me how to change the belt on my eureka AS3001A vacuum. It is belt 75914 for the pet power paw attachment. Please help,

Swivel the collar at the smaller end where it attaches to the vacuum which will allow the clear plastic cover to come off which will allow you to pull out the brushroll and belt to replace it. Reverse to reassemble.
