Dehumidifier norpe keeps going on and off

If your Norpole dehumidifier is repeatedly starting and stopping, it could indicate a problem that needs to be addressed. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:
  1. Check the humidity settings: Ensure that the humidity level set on the dehumidifier is reasonable and not too low. If the desired humidity level is already reached, the dehumidifier may turn off until the humidity rises again.
  2. Clean the air filter: A dirty or clogged air filter can restrict airflow and cause the dehumidifier to overheat. Turn off the dehumidifier, unplug it, and locate the air filter. Remove the filter and clean it according to the manufacturer's instructions. Allow it to dry completely before reinstalling it.
  3. Check the water collection bucket: If the water collection bucket is full, the dehumidifier may automatically shut off. Empty the bucket and ensure it is properly positioned back into the unit.
  4. Verify the drainage system: If your dehumidifier is equipped with a continuous drainage option, make sure the drainage hose is properly connected and not clogged. If the drainage hose is obstructed or improperly installed, it can cause the dehumidifier to turn on and off.
  5. Ensure proper ventilation: Make sure the dehumidifier is placed in a well-ventilated area. Restricted airflow around the unit can lead to overheating, triggering the auto shut-off feature.
  6. Power supply issues: Check the power cord and make sure it is securely plugged into a functioning power outlet. Also, ensure there are no issues with the circuit breaker or electrical supply.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, it's recommended to consult the user manual or contact Norpole customer support for further assistance. They will be able to provide more specific troubleshooting steps or advise on potential repairs or service options.

Pause light is constantly flashing

Pause is not a term ive seen on a dehumidifier , but one would assume that its waiting for something to occur in that mode , and with these the only logicial reason to wait is to "wait" for Moisture to return to room , maybe your room has been voided of %rh to the setting on unit and its waiting for more water to return ??

I have a GQF 1502 incubator with digital control and the humidity number stays at 97 but when I put a hygrometer inside the unit it read 47, so what could be wrong.

There could be several reasons why the humidity reading on the digital control is not accurate. Here are a few things you can try:
  1. Calibrate the hygrometer: The first thing to do is to make sure that the hygrometer you are using to measure the humidity is calibrated correctly. You can check this by placing the hygrometer in a sealed container along with a wet sponge or cloth for a few hours. The hygrometer should read close to 100% humidity. If it doesn't, then it may need to be calibrated.
  2. Check the humidity sensor: The humidity sensor in the incubator may be faulty or dirty. You can clean the sensor with a soft cloth or replace it if it is damaged.
  3. Check the water level: Make sure that the water level in the incubator is sufficient. If the water level is low, the humidity will be low as well.
  4. Check the ventilation: The ventilation in the incubator should be set to allow for proper air exchange. If the ventilation is not set correctly, it can affect the humidity level.
  5. Check the room conditions: The room conditions, including temperature and humidity, can affect the humidity level in the incubator. If the room is too dry, it can affect the humidity level in the incubator. You may need to adjust the dehumidifier or add a humidifier to the room to maintain the proper humidity level.

T2 direct de hum 3 alarming after running a few secs.

There are several reasons why your T2 Direct Dehum 3 dehumidifier may be alarming after running for a few seconds:
  1. Dirty or Clogged Air Filter: A dirty or clogged air filter can cause the dehumidifier to overheat and shut down. Check the air filter and clean or replace it if necessary.
  2. Defective Humidity Sensor: If the humidity sensor is defective, it may cause the dehumidifier to shut down. The sensor may need to be replaced.
  3. Faulty Compressor: A faulty compressor can cause the dehumidifier to shut down after running for a short time. You may need to replace the compressor.
  4. Low Refrigerant Charge: If the refrigerant charge is low, it can cause the dehumidifier to shut down. You may need to recharge the refrigerant.
  5. Faulty Control Board: A faulty control board can cause the dehumidifier to shut down or display error messages. You may need to replace the control board.
It is recommended to contact a qualified technician to diagnose and repair the issue with your dehumidifier.

Pro breeze dehumidifier problem

It sounds like your dehumidifier is likely experiencing an issue with the condenser. If the container was half filled, then it's possible that the condenser has become clogged due to a buildup of sediment or debris. To fix this, you should unplug the unit and remove the cover to check for any blockages. If there are any, then you can use a vacuum cleaner or compressed air to remove them. Additionally, you should also inspect the condenser for any signs of wear or damage. If the condenser is cracked or damaged, then it will need to be replaced. If you need further assistance, you can consult a professional technician for diagnosis and repair.

I have a 5 yr old Broan PM390-HS range hood which now is pushing air down rather than drawing air up. What would cause this reversal in fan direction?

Appliances like this have a motor that can run both ways and is push by the alternating cycles in the power supply. Sometimes you can retrain it by wearing heavy gloves and spinning it the right way as you turn it on. Leave it running for five minutes, switch off and back on before the fan stops. You can also contact Broan Nutone direct. https://www.google.com/search?q=broan+pm390-hs+blowing ..

My DeLonghi DE 400P dehumidifier shows E3. I replaced the humidity/temp prob sensor but still displays E3

I have the same issue, all 4 wires have voltage for my connector, I would assume one would be ground but it seems that is not the case unless that is the issue. Black wire I would assume would be ground but it isnt. If anyone has a wiring diagram for these units I could figure it out but I can only go so far when you are operating in the dark.
