If the air that's coming out is still cold, then you're probably fine. If it's running nonstop and it's not cooling down, you might be low on charge. Unfortunately, there's no simple way to check this yourself, and you'll need to call a service tech to verify that that's the problem and fill you back up. General charges (depending on the freon and the company) are somewhere around $100-300 for the visit, then $50-400 for the freon (depending on how much you need and the type).

I have a Windchaser Portable

There is no model with that number listed on their site so it's probably a custom one, made very recently specifically for a chain of stores. In that case this one should be very close to what you have

Here s a link to the Owner's Manual that you can download and print for future reference. Take good care of your unit, as Windchaser went out of business about 4 or 5 months ago. And with it went all the repair parts.So follow all the recommendations for Routine Maintenance listed in the Owner's Manual.

Need a new remote control

Unfortunately, Al, Windchaser has been out of business for about 6+ months and finding replacement parts are like looking for a needle in a haystack.There may be a substitute for it, but it would mean reprogramming or replacing the receiver in the unit. In my searches, I have not been able to find a universal replacement for AC units. However, there is one place you might try
http://www.remotecontrols.com/ You will definitely need the correct model number of the hand held remote, when search for it.

I have a windchaser portable

hi check first the compressor motor if it is running which cycle the cooling system .then make sure the thermostat knob is good. if all those i mentioned are good.now look for the thermostat if it is good and with contact.if still air doesn't cold might need to refill freon by this time you need an AC technician to do the work. i hope it will help you good luck.

My logik lpe 10 hp lost power and is not switching on. What causes this and how do I fix it?

Check the wall outlet with something known to work. Check the plug on the end of the air conditioner as many have a press-button reset.

If it has a dehumidifier built in, check the water doesn't need to be emptied.

Anything more than that, you need a refrigeration engineer to look at it.

Problem with gas stove after running out of propane. Pilot lights and flame coms on but goes out after 5 minutes blowing out pilot also

you probably have air in the lines. keep trying to relight or maybe open a burner up and let it flow for a minute or two before relighting it

Our Kohler dtv shower turns off on its own as soon as it reaches the set temperature. This started happening about 3 weeks ago. It takes forever to get hot then slowly increases the temp and the last 3 degrees it quickly jumps up to set temp and shuts off. Absolutely driving me crazy.

Fell over wont turn on Honeywell radiator heater HZ-709-WMT

It has a tip-over safety switch that needs resetting according to this

Smelled burnt wire near the furnace. Now the furnace does not respond to the thermostat. Continues to run even when it reaches set temperature.

so you need to check the thermostat wiring it seems

A bru-75 hanging garage furnance that will not light and the inducer fan will kick on when the gas valve is in the off position the furnace has not been used in a couple of years

After two years of not being used, it needs servicing. You can't work on it yourself, because you need to be a qualified technician to work on gas appliances.
