It is possible that the color processor is locked up and if you unplug the set from the wall for 40Min, it will reset back to normal.

data cable connection may be loose tighten the connection

2. replace the data cable

go into your display settings and select the default settings first . If that solves your problem , then start changing the settings one time until your problem recurs . Then you'll know what not to set your monitor / video settings to .

This problem with the T240 (t240M or T240 HD depending on the coutry) monitor on Windows 7 and maybe on Vista
is due to Samsung´s driver witch is not updated to Win 7. You will have to lower your video
resolution to 1600X1024 (higher resolution accepted) be able to use your monitor. Unfortunately it will not work on Full HD mode on Win 7,
until Samsung releases an updated driver for win7.
I had the exact same problem here and found this information together with the samsung people.
As yet they have no idea when the needed update will be available. Hope soon, till then no Full HD resolution for us.

This could be your graphics card too , try plugg it into the onboard GFX , and see if it works, if not it is a fault with the screen unfortunatly , which you will then have to take back to shop .

Most of the time its one of two things the cable needs to be replaced if you can plug into computer and it works that rules this out Second the connector on the dvd is bad this is the most occuring problem. I would try someone else's dvd player and see if it works.

try to fix first ur video card then the cable conect to ur monitor...
