yes get a can of compressed air from an electronics shop or google it to find a seller. Then pull out toner cartridges and blow any loose toner out of printer - preferably outside the building. Check if any loose toner on toner cartridges as well. Check rollers for paper are toner free also.

Hi, The PHD unit is either missing or not fully inserted into the printer. Reinsert the PHD unit. See "Replacing the Print Head Device" in your printer manual.

Yes. Dell has made available both 32 bit and 64 bit Windows 10 drivers for this device so it should work on you Sony. This printer is network enable but it is wired, not wireless so you will have to connect it to your network with a ethernet cable. If the power button is lit then there is power going to the printer. However, if there is no display coming on then there could be an issue with the system board on the printer. We can try doing a manual reset to see if that helps. Unplug the power cable from the printer. Press and hold Start button(Green button) and Cancel button(Red cross) while you plug the power cable back in. Did you check to see if all ink cartridges were full. or the print heads were good. I am not familiar with this printer however look up the manual on line to see if they have instructions how to clean the print heads. It is important that you follow instructions as ignoring them could cause damage especially to print heads.

The way I resolved the issue is to go to the Printer... literally walk to it (not via Windows or a Driver), Select Menu button on printer->Setup->Admin->Maintenance->Clean Developer. This will clean each toner cartridge or PHD unit, or to stir the toner in a new toner cartridge. Then it started printing solid black again. It took me hours to resolve this but I hope it helps someone else and spares them the pain.

Pull out all the toners and look at the drive gear on the problem color. They are located on the right side where the toners slide into the printer. I would check the plastic gears on the paper transport rollers. These gears can break when a paper jam suddenly stops the rollers.
