This printer is network enable but it is wired, not wireless so you will have to connect it to your network with a ethernet cable. If the power button is lit then there is power going to the printer. However, if there is no display coming on then there could be an issue with the system board on the printer. We can try doing a manual reset to see if that helps. Unplug the power cable from the printer. Press and hold Start button(Green button) and Cancel button(Red cross) while you plug the power cable back in. Did you check to see if all ink cartridges were full. or the print heads were good. I am not familiar with this printer however look up the manual on line to see if they have instructions how to clean the print heads. It is important that you follow instructions as ignoring them could cause damage especially to print heads.

Janson; does this problem only occur if you're doing copying via the auto feeder, or also if you lay the paper in manually? The auto feeder uses a small glass opening to the front (or left) of the main flatbed scan area; if there is an issue with that area letting in light, an all black page would result. If you get all black with either type of scan, but regular printing still works, then you may have a dead scan element. Try scanning something to your computer or to an email account to see if normal scanning still works.

Best thing I can recommend is to take it in for service. If you would rather risk breaking the printer you could try removing the cartridge forcefully with a pair of pliers. If you have some experience with removing covers on electronics, and you have screwdriver bits to match the screws, you could dismantle the case until you can reach the area where the cartridge is stuck and dislodge it directly, again risking damage, but if you take your time and don't apply too much force you may succeed.
