If you mean it comes up with a paper is jammed in the product error message when turned on, AND you have confirmed that there is no paper anywhere to be found inside the product, then you most likely have a defective sensor or electronic problem inside the unit that is not economically feasible to repair. Epson's web site is not at all helpful for this problem.

The nozzle may be blocked. So take out the colour cartridge and place its nozzle in a bit of water for about 10 mins. Bring it out and dab the nozzle with folded paper. If the tissue is blotted with the three colour it means you have unblocked the nozzle. Try now to print after returning the colour cartridge. You may need to repeat to get good results..

The internal memory included in the printer maybe damaged.

Maybe the image you try to print is too big and the memory of the printer does not admise this size of files.

Use a syringe filled with a liquid head cleaner. Add tip syringe with flexible hose (like the hose on the outlet head cleaning mechanic). Remove the ink tanks. Hose into the nozzle.Give the pressure slowly until the liquid head cleaner in the syringe out. Make sure no liquid is spilled in the vicinity of the nozzle. Replace the ink tanks, nozzle check and head cleaning. Is there a change from the nozzle check from the previous?

from your printer software locate the diagonistic or maintenance tool, initiate the print haed cleaning fron this tool.

on your msworl click print,

1.0 properties
2.0 paper size just drag to the bottom one
3.0 click costumise paper
4.0 click ok

If multiple pages feed at once, remove the paper from the tray, fan the edges to separate the sheets, then reload it. if Paper Jams Inside the Artisan 700 Series: Open the scanner. Remove the paper as shown, including any torn pieces. Squeeze the hooks and remove the cover inside the Artisan 700 Series. Remove the paper as shown, including any torn pieces Reattach the cover. Close the scanner. if after doing all of these still same issue persists, if the issue persists, call epson to get a replacement printer if the product is still 1 yr. from the date of purchase, if it is more than a year, most probably, thats out of warranty,

Instead of just turning it on and off, while unit is on, dis-connect power supply.
This will re-boot the system.

Look for the Driver and utilities combo pack and ensure that your operating system is written underneath in bold.
download and install.
