How to use Olympus FE3010
Sorry, you can't. The FE3010 is designed to store images and videos to memory, not to stream live video to another device.
I chose MTP instead of the other option after
Hey!

I'm thinking its a lemon. We also have purchased an Olympus fe-3010 took it back and received another and have the same problem It won't turn on we checked the battery using a dc volt meter and the battery was fully charged. We have decided back to the retailer it goes. Good luck to you =)
My new camera will not turn on
did checked the camera while buying it? check the battery polarity..if it is ok...if the voltage is differant if you are using 110v, or 240v, check this in charger...if does not work, then go to the dealer, without delaying and issue this problem to him, if changed the camera, then check it on the spot, and get some hints in regard to use the camera....
My camera won't be recognized when it's hooked up...
Make sure the camera is on and pc is selected on the camera screen when connected to the computer. You will need to have PC highlighted and select ok on the camera as this starts the camera and computer to communicate. Once communication established the LCD screen of the camera goes dark and the computer should generate a removable disk drive. Check the System Tray (lower right corner beside the PC time) for Safely Remove Hardware. When you click on it, it should read "Safely Remove USB Mass Storage Device Drive ?:" If you dont see that, then check the Device Manager to see if the camera is recognized as USB Mass Storage Device. The camera uses the driver usbstor.
It keeps turning off
This usually means the batteries are almost dead. If rechargeable types, they can no longer hold a charge. If the batteries are fresh, try another set newly purchased.
I have Olympus FE330 and the Power button stuck in the depressed position and it turns the camera on and off.
First you need to get the button out. But if it is defect (I think it is) that won't help. Did you try to find out what is keeping the button in the depressed position? is it possible there is some dirt around the knob? Something you can remove?I don't think it is worth bringing it to a service center. If they need one hour to repair it will cost twice a new camera of that class. So when you can't get the know out, I think you should start saving up for a new camera.
Camera picture distorted Olympus fe -340 8.0 5xzoom
Could it be you changed something in the settings?
Can you see the scene in a normal way before shooting? then it look to me the sensor an the camera have to be good.
It is to much to tell you how, because you have to look that up in the manual, but, please try to set the camera in auto mode, because is you did set to in the scene mode, and than chose blurry background, or shooting through glass that could cause the distortion.
I put the link for the manual down here, in case you can't find yours.
Start at page 6 to see how to shoot in automatic.
Be aware if you shoot ready shot (anti shake) on a tripodthe pictures will be blurred to.

Replace Olympus fe330 lens shutter flex cable?
The socket for the remote shutter release cable is on the right side of the camera when facing the lens. It is about half way between the top and bottom of that side. Just plug it in and set your shutter option to use it.
Driver fe21o
Do you really want a driver?
The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you ca use any photo management program such as Picasa (
http://picasa.google.com ).
