Need assistance diagnosing a problem with a Samsung UN75AU8000 LCD TV

Lets start by eliminating the parts that won't cause your issue, the main board could not cause it, it turns the lamps off, that's correct it turns them off, the inverter will turn the lamps on with the main board not connected. The power board could cause it but it's not probable, only way this could happen would be some shorted windings in the transformer that powers the backlights and in the thousands of?? set's we've repaired in our shop I've only seen excessive backlight voltage a couple times. Considering this set is edge-lite, the lamps get quite warm, if a few are shorted the strip will get hot enough to melt the plexiglass. Where are you getting the replacement lamps from? Is it possible they're not meant for the model set you have? Are you getting a good contact with the tape on the back of the strips? They need to be tight against the frame, is there tape that's bunched up causing a gap between the strips and frame? Without pulling up service lit on the TV (not at shop now) I can't tell you what the correct B+ voltage should be coming out of the inverter but usually it's about 80% of the DC rating of the caps. Other than what I've suggested I can' think of anything else to advise on, I can get the exact voltage of the inverter next week when I get into work.

Screen mirroring for Roshan smart tv to my Samsung phone

Under your settings menu on your TV there should be an option for allowing a connection to devices casting to the TV. Ensure your TV is capable of this first. If you provide the model number of the Roshan I can be of more help. After you've verified that your TV is connected to the same Wifi network as your Samsung phone, swipe down from the top of your Samsung, swipe down again to bring up the device controls. Scroll right until you find the icon titled "Smart View". Click on it and it will scan your network for compatible devices to cast your phone to for mirroring or playback. Your Roshan, if configured correctly, should be displayed in this menu.

I have a Samsung UN65JS9000FXZA 2015 Model. Picture has a shadow across the middle section horizontally. What could be the cause?

You have led's that have burned out, and will need to be replaced. Unfortunately, this is a highly frequent problem with Samsungs. The good news - I've repaired a bunch of them. If you can provide me with the model and version number located on the rear of the TV, I can provide you further diagnosis instructions and a link for purchasing replacement LED strips. For your size of TV, the parts should run less than $100.

2021 Samsung 55 4K QLED SMART TV IS TURNING ON AND OFF

The most common reasons for the TV to turn on by itself is having foreign matter around the power button of the remote control, external devices connected to the TV, and your settings. If the power button is stuck, clean the remote control.

Samsung 55" Q80A 2021 has green tone/tint on whole screen.

The screen being green on your TV is either caused by a loose or damaged cable connection of a media component to or from the TV or it could be that the TV's T con board is having problems and it would be more cheaper to bu a new TV than to try and fix the one that you have is broken.

I have a Samsung QN82Q60TAFXZA, the bottom third of the screen has faint horizontal lines and intermittently will not recognize HDMI inputs. Can you please advise what is required to repair

I hate giving someone bad news but this model set has a lot of main board issues, there have been many revisions to the original board trying to rectify the issues., you need to match your set to the date code or serial number to get the correct board, the bad news is the main boards can be hard to find and quite costly. A new board should correct the issues you're seeing, we have seen this model with main issues a number of times times in our shop

Samsung tv went black i can hear it but cant see

Remove the back from the TV, unhook the cable going from the power board to main, plug the set in and see if you get backlights, if you don't replace the lamp strips, if you do message me back and I'll get you some other help but I think you will find the lamps don't light up when you power the set up with the connector unhooked!

My Samsung PN50C450B1D plasma TV doesn't respond when touching the Menu, Volume or Channel buttons on the TV itself.

Chances are you have a stuck button on the button cluster, what I'd do is remove the connector going to it and use the remote control, with a stuck button the remote won't function properly.

  2. Press and hold the "TV" button on your remote until all the mode buttons light up.
  3. Enter the three-digit code for your TV using the number buttons on your remote. You can find the codes in the user manual for your remote or online.
  4. Press the "#" button on your remote. The mode button you selected should blink twice to confirm the code was entered correctly.

I have Samsung UN65NU8500FXZA Which is not working.

Based on the symptoms you described, there could be several possible causes for your Samsung UN65NU8500FXZA not working properly. Here are a few potential explanations: Main board issue: The main board is responsible for processing and sending signals to the TV's components. If the main board is faulty, it could cause the TV to display abnormal behavior, such as not turning on, blinking lights, or no picture. You may want to consider replacing the main board to see if this resolves the issue. Power supply issue: The power supply is responsible for supplying power to the TV's components. If the power supply is not working properly, it could cause the TV to turn off or not turn on at all. You can check the power supply unit for any visible signs of damage, such as bulging capacitors or burnt components. If you find any, you may need to replace the power supply unit. Flex cable issue: The flex cable connects the main board to the other components in the TV. If the flex cable is damaged or not seated properly, it could cause issues with the TV's display. You can check the flex cable for any signs of damage or looseness. If you find any, you may need to replace the flex cable. Backlight issue: The backlight is responsible for illuminating the pixels on the TV's screen. If the backlight is not working properly, it could cause the TV to display a dark or black screen. You can check the backlight for any visible signs of damage, such as dark spots or flickering. If you find any, you may need to replace the backlight. Based on your observations, it seems that there may be a problem with the main board or the flex cable. You may want to try replacing these components to see if it resolves the issue. However, it's always a good idea to consult a professional technician if you're unsure how to proceed or if you're not comfortable working with electronics.

In need of remote code for samsung la40c650l1mxrd tv

Here are some general steps you can try to program your remote control: Determine the brand and model of your remote control. This information should be available in the user manual or on the manufacturer's website. Turn on your Samsung TV. Press and hold the "Code Search" button on your remote control until the indicator light turns on. Press the "TV" button on your remote control. Enter the code for your Samsung TV. You can find a list of remote control codes in the user manual or on the manufacturer's website. Alternatively, you can try entering codes until you find one that works. Press the "Power" button on your remote control. If the TV turns off, the code has been programmed successfully. If the TV does not turn off, repeat steps 3-5 with a different code. If none of the codes work, it is possible that your remote control is not compatible with your Samsung TV. In this case, you may need to purchase a new remote control or contact Samsung customer support for further assistance.

Replacing main board on Samsung 43" model UN43NU6950FXZA

It sounds like you have already tried replacing the main board on your Samsung 43" model UN43NU6950FXZA TV, but are still experiencing issues with it. Since you mentioned that you have back lighting and can hear sound, but nothing appears on the screen, it could be a problem with the display panel itself or with the cables connecting the display panel to the main board. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try: Check the connections between the main board and the display panel. Make sure they are properly seated and secure. Try using a different HDMI cable to connect your Roku to the TV. If possible, try connecting a different device to the TV using HDMI to see if the issue is specific to the Roku. Check for any visible damage or cracks on the display panel. Try resetting the TV to its factory settings. This can usually be done through the TV's menu settings. If none of these steps work, it may be necessary to have a professional repair technician take a closer look at the TV to diagnose and fix the issue.

How to diagnose tv power supply or LED backlight problem.

If one string of LEDs fails to light, the power supply will detect the fault and shut down. That's pretty much standard operation. Unfortunately, LED backlights have turned out to be more delicate than we were told they would be. They are very susceptible to static electricity damage - they might not show it right away, but eventually a damaged LED develops a short circuit, then burns out. This disables the entire string. So, if you go to all of the work of disassembling the display, use ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) precautions and protection when handling any LED strips or cables connected to them. If you decide to replace the failed LED, it's probably a good idea to change all of them on the string because chances are the other LEDs were also zapped and will fail later on. The LEDs are typically surface mounted with both glue and solder, so replacement is not trivial. You may be able to buy complete LED strip assemblies. One of these days, some lawyer will figure out that high LED failure rates in certain models were due to careless handling in the factory, and there will be a flurry of class-action lawsuits. The lawyer will get a few million dollars, and all of the people with bad TV sets will get $7.53 each (at least that's how defective product litigation typically plays out).

Samsung 50 UN50J5200AFXZA Lines on screen

Going by what you've described, I'd say you have a bad panel and the set isn't fixable however try this before junking the TV, remove the flat ribbon cables, clean then replace them, if that doesn't fix it you can replace the tcon board however I don't think this will help, sorry I don't have better news for you.
