Call AT&T Technical Support Team. Then give them the IMEI/serial number. Then they will give you the code that you need.(This applies only for Non-CDMA phone).

If its CDMA phone then you have to flash it.Only in service centre they do the flashing.You can't do it,you need RCA cable to flash it.

Please don't go for false site which says they will get you the unlock code.

okay you will need a data cable wire (usb male on one end and a compatible male plug for your cell on the other end). switch the connection on cell to usb (data & bluetooth should be the other options) once connected goto my computer you should see a new drive (your cell)..... no driver is needed plug n play

Hi, when a phone says insert Sim,is either the Sim card or the Sim seater that allows the Sim to work is bad.

First try the Sim card on another phone and see if it will display insert Sim again.If it display that means the Sim card is damaged. But if no display,that means the Sim tray of your phone is damaged and will need to be replaced.

Hi, they don not reset keypads. They can only clean or replace with another.

What causes a phones keypad not to function especially when some of the keypads works and some don't work is due to IC inside the phone panel that controls the keypads to function is bad. And it will only stay like that until the IC is replaced.

You will to take it to a skill personnel for assistance.

Your phone is probably cooked ... salt water is highly corrosive. Your service provider may be able to clean it ... but it is probably damaged beyond economical repair. The sooner you get your phone into the professionals, the better your chances of recovery. Be prepared to replace it.

basically, remove the battery and cover, wrap in a towel and leave somewhere warm for at least 24 hours to dry, reassemble and try.

really? how did you get phone to work w/ att? i got a new sim card and phone not working w/ it..no service tho sim is activated.

How to correct sim card error / insert sim card

Procedure to follow

Step 1: Check the sim tray or sim seater to see if it it broken, if it is, replace it
Step 2: If the sim seater/tray is not broken, clean the entire terminal.
Step 3: If the sim seater/tray is not directly on the board, trace the broken led and solder it, or you replace the broken led with another sim tray.
Step 4: If it is still not working, change the battery and put a new battery, because a virus infected battery will always give such problem.
Step 5: Finally, if the problem still persist, then check the sim card and replace with another sim card if the former is bad because a bad sim card will always display such message as insert sim card or sim card error.
