How can I disable my monitor's sleep mode? I
You can do this in the Power Savings options with Windows. For Windows 7, rght click on the display (anywhere with no icons or running programs) and choose Personalize. Click on Screen Saver in the lower right hand corner. Adjust the Wait time for the screen saver if desired and click Apply. Then click on Change Power Settings. This brings up the Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Power Settings. Then click on Edit Power Settings for the active power plan. (For desktops it is usually the balanced power). Then change the setting for Turn off monitor to Never when plugged in. Also change the Sleep time for the computer to Never. You can do the same for when on battery but it will shorten the length of time that the computer will be able to run on the battery for laptops. Then Save Changes and close the windows.
For older versions of Windows, these advanced power settings are also available from the Screen Saver settings page but details may differ.
I hope this helps.

(for most monitors, as long as the computer is sending a signal the monitor will stay on)

Dell 22" monitor goes black
Hello,
Your monitor probably has bad capacitors now. Bring it to a local electronic repair shop and have the monitor tested. They can easily replace any bad capacitors.
I hope this helps. Have a nice day.

SP2208wfp monitor goes into sleep during videos
Assuming you are using Win-XP, go into control panel, Appearance and Themes and Choose a screensaver. There should be an option below the screensaver choice to adjust Power Saver settings.

I want to know about some adventures video games?
Check out Big Fish Games. It is a subscription service but they have all types of games including adventure and hidden object. You can also tryp Pogo since they have both a fee and subscription service. Last, but not least, you can try one of your local computer stores or the electronics section of "big box" stores like Target, Walmart, Kmart, etc.
