What causes recurrent 1LT error message?
Normally when you get an image shift it's because something went wrong in the registration section. This model has a registration roller that is driven by a clutch and solenoid. A frequent problem on this unit is that the registration solenoid will stick open and cause the print to shift on paper and it can be intermittent. You can try clean the solenoid plate, otherwise you will have to replace, the part number is 121E26000.
What do I do when my xerox 6115mfp continues to display please wait?
More than likely a thermistor or thermafuse has blown Not to fret a whole bunch the good news is that it was protecting you and not letting a fire occur Bad news is that if you're not tech savy then a service call is in order. One way to verify is the heat rollers hot when it says stand by? is the main motor running the whole time>? It might just be on the fringe of it telling you it needs toner. a service code would be helpful. there's a slight chance they told you in the manual how to access the service mode. Sometimes a sensor detects a situation//now the issue is gone. and it just needs reset. this is a good money maker for copier repair companies. If it was mine,(repaired copiers for 24yrs) I would try what I said ,write down what you find and then get on internet for service mode or push this button and that button at the same time to get code or also how many copies are on it. I'm assuming you're a fix it at home if you can kind of person or you wouldn't be here. Worse case scenario, bite the bullet and call the big red X.~~ Hope this helps and give Fixya a bit of feedback on how it turned out ~~~>S
Everytime I print, I get
This sounds more related that in your printer settings on the OS are set to an incorrect size. Such an error would result.
Check the printer setup from whichever program you are using and make sure it is the correct size. 8.5" x 11"
I've seen abode reader for instance go to 8.5" x 11.5" resulting in an error.
Comment back with what your printing from (software)

I have a Xerox 6115
The toner is positioned by the Toner Rack . The Rack Postioin Sensor 130E11800 needs to see it there. Otherwise it reports a toner problem.
Clean that sensor, or replace it.
If the Toner Rack isn't moving then maybe you need the motor or figure out what is mechanically binding that Rack.
