All SD cards has a physical switch that locks the card. Remove the card from the camera and check this switch. It's on the left side of the card opposite side the angled edge. Make sure that the switch is in the forward position (towards the pins that get seated in the camera). Replace the card in the camera carefully to avoid moving the switch. Try accessing the card again.

If the switch is damaged or slides back and forth to the locked position easily, replace the card. It's possible to temporarily fix the card to access it. You need to carefully cut the switch plastic away from that slot and then cover the slot with tape. Make sure that the tape lies flat against the card and doesn't cover the area with the pins.

I hope this helps.

Do you mean you can't download pictures?

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

If it's a day game, use the Sports setting. If it's a night game, turn off the flash, turn the ISO up as far as you can, and cross your fingers.
