I NEED THE CODE TO SYNC TV WITH XFINITY CABLE PLEASE

Set-up (Programming) procedure is too much to type in here, and is not practical and it will differ brand-to-brand remote controls. If you wish to get more; check the sites linked here. It has set-up code list & set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. One among it has general set-up codes to check with TVs and other devices are given, in the order of the 'device's brand name list' in alphabetical order. Pull up older posts. Search the sites by type in the brand name to your device in its search box at the top right part of the display window. It will help you to find the document easily. http://electro-medical.blogspot.com/

The reds are not showing, image on tv is mostly blue and yellow shades, the reds do not come out. What should I do to fix this?

Easiest place to start is the cables and connections. You should be able to get a reaction from the monitor by jiggling them. If you do see the problem go in and out by doing this then replace the cable. If not the cable then you are looking at the video board.

My tv shuts down when watching it.

Fault with the main power supply regulator board. Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis rather than making "Surgery" to it; which usually will make loss for both money and time.

Want to use headphones sometimes on tv is there a way to do that without plugging and unplugging it

There is no such facilty to any TVs. When you plug in the head-phone pin into head-phone socket, the internal speakers will cut off, and audio will be only via headphones, and vice versa.

Is there a way to use headphones without plugging and unplugging it from back of tv

You may use a wireless system. WalMart has wireless sets from $18 and up. Naturally the higher the price the better the quality. If you are near a RadioShack they too, have a variety to select from. They use Recahrgable baterys.

Wont turn on

I see so many here with no sound/nopicture issues:ISSUES: 1. IF sound main fuse/s are good.2. If no power or standby check main fuse, standby power supply and any signsof damage you can see---burnt parts etc.3. almost all these sets the troubleshooting involves checking voltages on the main power board to narrow down theproblem.4. Be safe and if you do not know what you are doing don't open the set.Answers to issues:1. RE:fuses---if a blown fuse is found get a good replacement(not the genericones like Radio Shack). Many fuses are special even aside from amperage--Don'tput a higher rated amperage fuse in the set for any reason.2. RE: power supply in set: if total dead aside from main fuse the set uses astandby power supply that runs 7/24 and a main supply (some are combined andsome not. Here aside from checking fuses you want to examine all the filter caps on thepower/standby to see if any are puffed up or buldged up in some fashion--Iattach a photo of a good one---top should be silver metal and PERFECTLY flatand have no brown material coming out on top or bottom. What happens in the standby area is they use caps with too low a voltage rating(saves money) which causes them to fail in a year or two---the standby runs7/24 and the heat dries out the caps and they fail.3. Trouble shooting consists of the above and then at some point you have to buyand try a board to see if it fixes it or not.4. Safety first--no TV set is worth getting injured or even killed over.If set is opened at least look for puffed up and bad caps like in thisphoto.5_15_2012_1_37_38_pm.jpg

Can't locate fuse on my Olevia TV...what does

The fuse is located on the power supply. You have to remove the back cover of the LCD in order to get to the power supply. The fuse should be near the AC power cord jack. If the fuse is blown, you may have bigger problems than you anticipated.
