WHY CAN'T SAMSUNG FIND MY TV MODEL TO UPGRADE?

Because there is no upgrade for your model TV. It may be too old or too new. It may be a model made for a company like Walmart that asked for no upgradability to save money.

Can't turn it on -

it is possible that the tv is in its power management system because it was over heated. Leave it alone for a couple hours and if it still doesn't turn on, try unplugging and plugging it back in.

Yes. The TV has a solder in 4.5 amp fuse. BUT most of the time when the power surges it also shorts the Bridge rectifier assy. IF you are not familiar with solder techniques, you will have to replace the power supply board. SHOP jimmy has in stock. Use model number .

Our picture suddenly changed drastically from a clear sharp picture to a blurry, faded looking picture. Some colors are extremely bright, others are faded out. It is so bad it is not viewable.

Please check the flat cable connections between TCON board and the LCD panel. If this is ok, then it is either the TCON board or the LCD panel itself. Good luck.
