Initial HDTV-320 32 in. LCD TV - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
No signal for HDMI or DVI
Hi, what device or devices have you tried to connect through those ports? Were they working prior to this problem?
How do i put it to play dvd player
Turn off and unplug the HDTV set and the DVD player before attempting to connect component cables to them.
2Match the red, green and blue colored cables to each of the color-coded counterparts on the back of the DVD player. Be sure the cables are being plugged into the TV-out section of the DVD player.
Plug the other end of the color coded cables into the HDTV set. There should only be a red, green and blue cable being plugged into the TV. It does not matter what input these cables are plugged in, but keep track of which particular one it is. Most HDTV sets will have more than one A/V input, which is why it's important to take note of where the component cables are located.
4Power on the DVD player and the HDTV set. If not already plugged in, ensure both of these are properly plugged into an outlet.
5Press the "Source" button using the HDTV remote and locate the input channel that has the component cables plugged into it. The HDTV set should now show the DVD player logo or an introduction to the DVD.

Recently moved to another city,
Hi my nameis Mike Houston of DISH Network and I was going over your post and see youmoved and lost the remote. We have what we call a Power Scan for the DISHNetwork remote; it will allow you to get the code to the TV. http://www.dishnetwork.com/SupportSection/power-scan-instructions
The tv turns off on
hi,
possibly sounds like a heat dissipation issue.(dusty ) could try a small fan pointed towards the back of the set untill you can get it serviced. if not then most likely the light source is going out. either way its going to have to be serviced soon. you could try and take it apart and dust it out with an air compressor if your mechanically inclined, google the name brand for disassembly instructions and light parts LCD's have a flourescent bulb in them. if you can get it out rather than having to take the whole set in, you just saved youself a you know what load of money!

Volume is stuck, buttons on tv wont lower it and
Sometime if a button is stuck it can lock up the processor and cause all the buttons connected to it to not function. Insure all buttons press and release normally. If all buttons appear to press and release in a normal fashion a trip to the repair center may be call for.
Won't switch input settings
this is a manufacturer defect I would suggest contacting them and hopefully getting a replacement for it or at bare minimum they should give you a means to reset the tv to its manufacturer default hopefully enabling the features that came with it
hope this helps
Standby lamp flashes
if the lamp light is flashing, remove the lamp and check it there is 98% of possibility that is bad.
Stuck on a video mode
Some TV's disable inputs if there is no signal. I suggest confirming cables are connected properly, and accessing the system menu, and perform an autoscan for channels
Can't get all digital channels
There are several possibilities assuming you have an outdoor antenna with the amplification. You are too far from the transmitter or the station is still on a low power digital transmitter until the analog broadcasts end. Additionally, there may be buildings, hills or trees in the way. The first one is called the digital cliff - you either have enough signal for your tuner or you don't. Some stations may need to add transmitters to cover the secondary areas that could still receive the analog signal. The second possibility will either resolve on Feb 18 or June 12 or anywhere in between. (It will depend on your station and the Digital TV transistion delay bill. Some stations are changing frequencies with the transistion and can't go to full power until another analog station moves its frequency.) The last one can't be resolved.
If you have an indoor antenna, you can try moving it around to get better results. My household has an amplified outdoor antenna with a rotator to get the antenna to line up with the signal. We have two analog stations that give problems when we look for their digital signals. We hope the issue will resolve with the changeover since we have seen the signals on both stations improve when they wanted to broadcast football games.
What parts do I need to fix my TV?
LED backlights are bad, common failure on this model TV but if it were mine I'd recycle it and buy a better brand set.
