Mr. Slim is dripping from movable doors.

Try to get at the drain hose from outside. It sounds gross but try to blow some air int the drain hose. Do not blow to hard but hard enough to tell if the hose is clogged or not. If the hose is not plugged hou may have to tear into the unit a bit. The drain hose is either on the left or right hand side of the unit. You should be able to take out the filters in the unit to see down in the drain pan. It is under the coil and you should be able to see water in it. It may be better to have a technician come over and tear into the unit to get the drain pan out and cleaned. Sometimes if water gets trapped in the drain pan it will slime up and cause it not to drain properly. They do sell a tablet that you can use in the drain pan to treat the water to keep it from sliming up and getting moldy. We sell the bottle of 100 tablets for around 25 dollars. Your local HVAC Wholesaler or contractor should have these on hand. Let me know how it goes.

Just bought a new remote

Hi and Welcome to FixYa. I am Kelly You will probably have to use a pen and press the reset button on the remote for it to learn the unit codes.

3. Troubleshooting procedure
1) First, check if the OPERATION INDICATOR lamp on the indoor unit is flashing on and off to indicate an abnormality.
To make sure, check how many times the abnormality indication is flashing on and off before starting service work.
2) Before servicing check that the connector and terminal are connected properly.
3) When the electronic control P.C. board seems to be defective, check the copper foil pattern for disconnection and the
components for bursting and discoloration.
4) When troubleshooting, refer to 8-2., 8-3. and 8-4.
4. How to replace batteries
Weak batteries may cause the remote controller malfunction.
In this case, replace the batteries to operate the remote controller normally.
RESET button
Insert the negative pole of the
batteries first. Check if the polarity
of the batteries is correct.

NOTE
: 1. If RESET button is not pressed, the remote controller may not operate correctly.

2. This remote controller has a circuit to automatically reset the microcomputer when batteries are replaced.
This function is equipped to prevent the microcomputer from malfunctioning due to the voltage drop caused by the
battery replacement.

I could not copy the figures so I hope that your understanding that the reset button is on the remote and must be pressed with a ball point pen.

This should get you going. Thanks for using FixYa.

Mitsubishi split ac indoor light blinking unit not working

The blinking is an indicator that it needs service. Call a technician! Ask if they are experienced in mini split systems. You can check the air filters. Check the outdoor coil to see if its clean or covered up with dirt. And at the breaker or disconnect, turn off power, wait 5 mins, and turn it back on. Then give it 3-5 mins to see if it will reset itself. If this don't work, call a tech/service provider! These units are troublesome to troubleshoot.

I've got a Mitsubishi L200 2001 Is it practical to add an ac unit to this

Not very practical unless you find a donor (identical) vehicle fitted with aircon and even then changing all the parts over would be a considerable amount of work even though a huge saving of cash.
