One the buttons on the plug are a reset button. If you press reset, wait 3 minutes before turning the unit ON. Also, check the water collection tank. It may be full and needs to be drained. If that is the case, the unit will not turn ON, until it is drained.
Thanks for choosing FixYa.

The pans are usually at the bottom of the unit. It may be a plug not a pan you remove to drain it.

Actually, you can find a suitable, flexible type duct at any home center, in the diameter you need. In addition, they'll have the clamps you'll need and the plastic part. Take a piece of the old one with you (if you still have it) for comparison purposes. You may have to buy more than you need, but you'll always have a back up in the future.
Hope this helpd you. Please let me know. Thanks.
I have a 1400 btu
Obviously, you will have to disassemble part of the cabinet to access the fan blade. Removig the blade should not be difficult. If it's the fan motor, than that may be a challenge. However, since you did not furnish the Model Number of your AC Unit, there's not much more I can tell you, other than where to find the part(s) you'll need. Try Factory Appliance Parts
http://www.appliancefactoryparts.com/airconditioners/amana/amana-motors-and-blades.html You'll definitely need the correct Model Number of your unit, to search for the part(s) you'll need.
Hope this helped you.
The water from my PAC75U
Either the tubing that directs the water in to the tank is loose or is clogged.
Turn the unit OFF and unplug it.
Remove the water collection tank and look up into the tank's cavity for a small plastic tube or drain hole. If you see either, that means the tube is still in place, but is probably clogged. If there's just a drain hole, that will be easier to unclog.
In either case, using an appropriately sized, 18" long plastic Zip Tie, carefully insert the tip into the hole or tubing. Continue to push it in until you reach a bend in the tubing. Gingerly, work it past this bend until it either bottoms out or you run out of usable Zip Tie. Then slowly pull the Zip Tie out while rotating (twisting) it. This will help dislodge any clogs. As you each the tip of the Zip Tie, be prepared for some water that may follow. Once you have completed this, reassemble all parts, plug the unit in and turn it ON. Rest the controls to your liking and monitor the unit for any leakage.
I hope this helped you to solve the problem.
What is the best way to clean the coils on our
Hello, the best way to clean the coils on it would be to buy coil cleaner that is a self rinsing type. You just spray it on the coil and the condensation will wash it away from the evap coil. Also, on the condenser coil you can buy the the same type but not self rinsing, just spray it, let it sit for a little, and then was it with some water.

Stopped working
Hi, it sounds as though a componant is faulty as it will not reset. When the surge protector will not reset, its telling the unit it has a short in it. You would need to take it in to a appliance repair to get an estimate, as you know they can be high. Get one and compare it to the price of a new one, and you will know which way to go. I hope I have been of some help to you. It may be a minor repair, but its the labor costs that add up.
Sincerely,
