i believe you have the "num lock" button on. push it again the light sghould go off and now its all letters now

The touch sensors and "volume" button is on the top right corner of the keyboard panel .... above the keyboard keys. press "1" - left most - to mute and unmute press "2" - next - going right - to turn volume down press "3" - next - going right - to turn volume up
or ..
you can press (at the same time) the Fn key and Esc (to mute), Fn key and F1 to decrease the volume, or Fn key and F2 to increase the volume.

you should call the lenovo warranty support hotline and check your warranty if you can sent it to the depot to be repair free of charge :)

It seems that if you have left the laptop unattended for a while the keyboard locks up.

The only fix i know is to restart the laptop to get it working again.

The problem could well be a BIOS issue, try updating the BIOS to see if this permanently fixes the problem.

Your audio device is likely DSP based, and not actual hardware. You should be able to find the driver at lenovo.com. Once installed, then your audio device(s) should be detected and ready to use.

well you cant download a sound card . if it is a sound driver for your sound card you can go to lenovo download and support and find a driver there .but if you really need a sound card you need to visit your local computer store ......:)

get another computer(neighbor) then copy the drivers from the CD to a flash disk then on opening the flush on the laptop look 4 the files called setup and double click on them (on opening folders like sound,VGA etc)

The same model ThinkPad can have different types of network, video and audio drivers and unless you know exactly which one is installed in your ThinkPad, you need to download all the drivers and install each driver until you find the right driver.

You can download the various drivers and then you click on and run the various driver files, they will then unzip and expand into a sub folder on C:\drivers Then install the various drivers from this folder (run the set-up file).

Hi. you can just use a password to login to your computer or if not try going to safemode and from there you can uninstall the face recognition software and login to your computer using a just the password. If you still want the face recognition software you can just download it from the tech support website of lenovo or might as well contact the tech support dept for further assistance. On your start menu goto All Program then locate the program of your webcam. Then click that program wait until they open. Or open the My Computer the see if the webcam are installed. If you can see the webcam just double click on that and wait until they are opening.

I wonder if your numeric keypad lock function is active. It is normally activated after pressing both Fn+Delete, To deactive this funcion press both Fn+NmLk.
