Have you tried running it in XP mode? if not give that a try it is possible that WoW may not have been patched yet to run on windows 7

The mouse pad maybe faulty or the ribbon cable from the mouse pad to the motherboard may not be properly connected. Reseat this cable.
You can connect an USB optical mouse to the laptop. I prefer you use a USB mouse all the time over the mouse pad.

check the bios settings .... they usually have a screen setting ... one option would be to set it to auto select..... Does it still get external video?

i don't have a solution ... but i do need one for the n586 also... i bought it on line the description said that the internal screen will not display and the external does... when i received it and going threw diagnostics i came across a system password in the bios... i have worked on lenovos in the past and i know they have some weird settings in the bios to begin with ... i believe this is a security feature that shuts off the internal screen... will not charge the battery... and will not recognize a fresh install of windows (but will read windows on a hard drive that is preloaded) if i was to try to install windows fresh it will not see the hard drive... i need either a schematic to trace down the eeprom chip,or to locate the cmos jumper(not clearly marked if it has one) OR the original bios flash because there isnt any updates for that yet ...... PLEASE HELP.... the mother board is a Hannstar J mv-4 94-0 1221

You can download a free driver update software and run a full scan. Then you can select whichever driver you need. One example of software like that is that:

Drivers are available from Lenovo's web site.

From Lenovo. Go to their web site and download it. XP can find a windows version if you do not find the proper driver.

The hdd password ensures that someone without the password cannot access the data on it.

Either your charger is not working or your battery is worn out. Had same prob. with my Acer 5532. After pricing a new one from Acer, I looked on Ebay and found a replacement with 12 month guarantee for a third of the price, so I bought the one off Ebay. Working fine!!!

If you have no password, windows will not work. Seek professional advice with a view to copying your data off before formatting.

How many beeps do you get before they stop, beep codes can reference a number of things but you need to count them.
If it is fairly continuous try taking the battery out (while it is powered off without the charging cable plugged in), then plug the charging cable in and turn it on. If that solves it then you have a faulty battery.

If that doesn't solve it then you could have a faulty stick of RAM, your graphics card may be faulty, your hard drive may be faulty, as I say, without knowing how many beeps you have I cannot tell.
You should be able to find out by searching the beep codes for your laptop make and model
They should be the ones found here:

usually such games frightfully raise the temperature of the CPU . and some settings on BIOS controls speed of cooling fan and the threshold temp Not to be exceeded to protect the CPU,try to check them

it's is locked because it is password protected. if it's not for you, ask the owner for the password.

Even if you enter the BIOS and attempts to remove the HDD password, You will still need to produce the password before you can disable it.
